I know it isn’t very manly football fan esque, but I actually felt quite emotional at the final whistle.

We put up with so much shit supporting this team, I’ve left the Ricoh countless times feeling frustrated or even worse non plused.

Clichè as it is; games like today make it worth it. And when we get those elusive moments of pride and happiness, it provokes such a strong reaction. Fantastic.

Today is one of those days that makes football special. Took my young nephew to his first ever game today as well. Step 1 of converting him from a Manchester City fan complete, hopefully not too many more we need all the youngsters on board we can get.

We have thousands of dormant fans. Yes, they will come out the woodwork for a top 4 team maybe, but the club need to do something to intice them on a general basis.

How many people there today will be buzzing? How many more people can we reach out to? The answer is many.
