Thanks for that.
I started supporting the Sky Blues, as a kid, in the early 1960s and I didn’t miss a home game for 12 years until I went away to university.
I reckon I must have seen virtually all of his appearances for us at Highfield Road, possibly every single one.
Seeing him on the right wing and Willie Humphries (Northern Ireland international) on the left was a joy to behold. We haven’t had such good wingers from then until our current team.
Let’s hope it’s an entertaining and sporting game tomorrow. Obviously I want us to win, as you will want your team to.
May the best team win
if we play anything like we did on wednesday it's a nailed on home win tomorrow. It’s the eve of the game, seems a decent number will travel, the away trips are huge for Swansea based fans. Last season over a thousand miles in one particular week.
We would be happy with another draw, I guess for you a win is what most want ?
I’ll edit that, and use the word ‘expect’
He was a magnificent example of a player who had he been English would have surely bothered the national side. He was superb even when he saw out his years at the Swans. Thanks for that.

I tend to agree, it was a superb performance, but this league etc …if we play anything like we did on wednesday it's a nailed on home win tomorrow.
Not sure about Dovin as a loan striker but 3 keepers should help us keep it tightWright Simms Sakamoto
Sheaf Rudoni Eccles
Dasilva Binks/Kitching Thomas MVE
Dovin
Give Bassette plenty of mins, then I'd start him next week at Leeds where he can play a similar role to the Spurs game.
BTA hasn't got any of the necessary skills to play as a 10Thomas needs to start, and keep starting. Play Kitching or Binks alongside.
If Sakamoto not fit then either Latibeaudiere at RB and MVE in front, or BTA on right.
Bassette should be given the last half an hour of foreseeable games, coming on for Simms. Needs to play at the top.
Rudoni in the 8 role, but if we want to rotate/are short then I think BTA should be given a run out at 10.
Wright on the left, but EMC needs to keep picking up minutes one way or another.
Sheaf and Eccles midfield, obviously. Torp if either are not fit.
Ronnie played on the LEFT wing for CoventryHow do folks, thanks for the approval. Thought you might like to have a look round our site regards this game.
We've done a piece on Ronnie Rees. (Poetry)
Thats hereRonnie Rees
And have a match day thread. It’s madness to think it’s been seventeen games since you’ve beaten us, 1983 was the last time. Something will give you see. Match day thread below.
Here - Cov v Swans
Cheers everyone, gutted for you last night but have to hope it tired you out a bit. Happy to field some questions if you have any ?

All rounder then, he was predominantly right sided at the Swans. Although his biog and cuttings from way back state he was employed on both flanks. Let’s agree he was bloody goodRonnie played on the LEFT wing for Coventry
I'm pretty sure I've seen him on the right here as well! All rounder then, he was predominantly right sided at the Swans. Although his biog and cuttings from way back state he was employed on both flanks. Let’s agree he was bloody good
Let’s also hope it’s not usSomeday soon someone's getting a tonking , let's hope it's tomorrow
Easy to agree on that. He was also at West Brom and Forest in between our clubsAll rounder then, he was predominantly right sided at the Swans. Although his biog and cuttings from way back state he was employed on both flanks. Let’s agree he was bloody good
Bassette has to start today please
Young eager lad deserves 90 minutesJust been for a run and, quite sadly, was thinking about City as I was running.
I definitely think the more aggressive pressing of Bassette and Asante helped the midfield
People say Simms doesn't press, I disagree, but it doesn't have the same intensity.
So to summarise my waffle, I agree!
That must have been murder at 20 mph, only joking but the Gov't have listened by the looks of things and rescinded while not completelyIt’s the eve of the game, seems a decent number will travel, the away trips are huge for Swansea based fans. This has to be worth a lifetime ban. From both this forum and the stadium. Wrong un.Peanut butter and tomato ketchup sandwich (seeded bread of course) to line the stomach, before pre-match drinks, celebrating @Leamington spa sky blue 's birthday. Then onto 3 points. Come on City !
I'm not sure a ban is enough. Think we can organise a lynch mob at short notice?Mods - ban this sick filth.
