Eccles sounds very downbeat on CWR.
Not a dig at Eccles but more of the whole squad, but Eccles was asked if as captain he says a few words in the dressing room when things aren't going right and he said not really he leaves it to the coaching staff, and then trotted out some cliche about how theres 11 players and 11 captains out there.

Seems a massive lack of leadership probably since Mcfadzean left the club.

Well that was poor. It’s on Robins. It was a ridiculous team selection. Simms, Saka and EMC had to start. The Spurs game suited bta and Bassette as their harrying came in useful when we didn’t have a lot of the ball. Wright was shattered in the Spurs game. Torp had to start - even though I keep looking for something with him but just see someone who always looks like they are running through porridge. And we desperately need an alternative at RB as mve cannot play their all season. No problem with Robins overall but he got this one wrong and to be fair he admits it post match.

They are not sheep in Wales, they are leisure centres 🤢
Fair dos - my mother (RIP) was Welsh and I have a lot of family in the Rhondda Valley, so actually have a lot of affinity with Wales. That said, I didn't want to get in the way of a good old stereotype (deserved your win today tbf, but still fuming over our first half set up),

We started badly last year, Wright and Simms were poor as well as others and then we started to have a settled side and we started scoring goals.
I still have faith in Robins atm but he needs to pick a team and stick with it. It was a smack in the face for Simms being dropped for Weds and today, I can understand Weds but not today and playing Allen in midfield is definitely weakening us so come on Mark gee em up and let's get back on track and stop the vultures that are circling

Absolutely gagging to find out why AV was let go. Not a guess like all you lot do. The actual reason.

Better days posted something which for me is probably as near as it gets given his track record and his take was their relationship just deteriorated.

Because they’ve got microscopes?

If I was Doug I’d have Mrs Whatshername in and say “your job is Haji Wright and only Haji Wright and you’ll be judged on his performances”. We’ve never looked so unmotivated since we got a “Performance Director”.

While I’m on a rant about the new staff, what do we fucking expect getting shot of someone who coached under Mourniho with world class players and replacing them with a couple of U18s coaches who have never done anything?

At the very least Robins needs a proper assistant who knows the game at the level we’re trying to play at.
Maybe Adi went because of King saying if he goes you can have another player brought in when we save Adis wages

What the hell is going on with Dovin and his distribution? Even with time running out he refuses to kick long,

I know its early days for him, but i'd get Wilson back in.

Allen on crutches and knee brace.

sheaf clearly miles off

We must use market now.

Robins faces serious questions. We are seeing relegation form since March. We are seeing the same mistakes, sloppy, slow, no leader, passive tempo. 4 “coaches” is clearly causing confusion.

we are seeing these issues game in, game out on whole, bar one off exceptions. Why?

Im seriously concerned maybe, just maybe he can’t fix it this time…….

It would just be giving it the ball to them even if he did go long.

March? Our performances have been off since we beat Leicester

Allen's injury is hopefully the final straw that sees us bring in James. Though if King has plans to fire Robins sooner rather than later, maybe it won't be.

I'm still fuming - first 30 mins was worse than anything that I can remember since Norwich away (Godden/Vik fallout (that didn't happen!)
Despite that, we could have got something from the game - that is how fine the margins are between results in the championship. @Saddlebrains - get onto your man/woman;
I want to hear that Robins is extremely pissed off.
I want to hear that they are fuming with the officiating.
I want to hear that the players are embarrassed and desperate to put things right.

I might feel slightly better if there is this reaction rather than us just bending over to the opposition and officials!...

My best mate was with corporate today and sat behind the dugout. I asked him about the coaches, this is his observation:
Boateng is in Robins ear, that Rhys guy just moans at the 4th official and the others do fuck all

100%

How he’s being given the armband I’ll never know. Not sure who should have it in his place, maybe Thomas but tough call with who started today, bu

BTA simply is not cut out for playing wide right either, he’s a down the middle centre forward.

MVE was hopelessly exposed so often.
No football nouse, I just cheer the team, but didn't we switch to one up front because Haji and Ellis just didn't seem to work. Maybe we should change back to wing backs so 3 at the back would cover when going forward, and try BTA up front with Norman? Just to mix it up a bit, obviously.

Wright and Simms didn't work as a duo but that was also when they had first joined and the wing back system overall was too passive. Bassette, Simms, BTA and probably Wright can all play down the middle.

To me there's just so many problems, the shape and shoehorning of players into roles that don't suit them is just one of many.
