Apparently has a £5 million buyout clause so I doubt it.
Whether or not he would join, I’d like to think of Doug believed he was the right man he would pay it. Seems to be more likely to overpay then underpay for a target.

It was silent. Genuinely louder with 18k in there. Has the drummer had his season ticket paid for this year?

It wasn't though. Wednesday fan on walk away from ground saying it was nice to visit a ground with some atmosphere. It's still a cut above most grounds even when it's not bouncing. Just because we're not singing re worked 80s pop songs for 90 mins doesn't mean it isn't noisy.

Least of our worries anyway.

We’ve been over paying for targets ever since he took over, wouldn’t be unusual
That’s my thoughts. Some signings look clever (at least did before this nonsense) but others just reek of time running out like Kitching. Would assume the manager would be more later then plucking a young manager out of some German coaching set up.

He was on for 33 minutes

3 passes made

1 out of 3 duals won

2 shots of which 0 were on target

Wasn't fouled, didn't give away any fouls.

He just nothing at all to force a change in the course of the game, not aggressive or disruptive.
He made more of an attempt to press than usual I suppose. Never looked a threat but nor did BTA, both were fed scraps.

Very surprised by that. They were very loud, completely outsung us throughout.

EMC and Wright were very poor today. It was like playing with no attacking outlets.

MR is backed into a corner with Bassette/Simms/BTA, he’ll always bring on Simms (and rightly so in some ways) but he doesn’t suit a pressing game, and without changing shape he can’t then get Bassette on the pitch.

He should fucking change shape then

Drawing at home, against a side with the worst away form and 2nd worst defence in the division, change it. Flat 433 or 442.

But no. He swaps fucking DaSilva for Bidwell

Hes starting to get on my tits and is becoming a dinosaur with his inability to try something different with our plethora of attacking options

I needed somebody to be sent off to win a bit to go with Rudoni scoring first. Their player should have gone or Eccles or sheaf should have dragged the player down for one
