He was crap all gameTo be fair he was shattered.
I'd go with the front three as tonight.Against Swansea I would start with Thomas-Asante down the middle and Bassette on the left.

That was a lovely assist! He will!
He really wasn’tAllen was excellent until he ran out of steam. You don’t half chat some shit
Would be tempted to brink back Sakamoto on the right if he is fit, I know he's not been great this season but think he adds the balance to the team and links up well with MVE. Bassette deserves a start though I thinkI'd go with the front three as tonight.
It’s how we lost to a stupid unforced error againReally don't get the whinging about tonight, they are a top team and can do that to you. Sure we didn't help ourselves at the end but it was a free hit and we put in the best performance of the season so far.
On another day we would have been 3 up before they scored.
If we play at 70% of that level for the rest of the season we will wipe the floor with most teams.
hahaHe was crap all game
Eccles is maturing into a very good midfielder. And once his teammates get on the same wavelength as Norm he will create problems for a lot of defences this season
He's also showing a lot more leadership too which is hugely encouragingEccles had a very accomplished performance tonight, just needs some consistency now
It was Bobby ThomasTo be honest I thought that was Thomas but didn’t have the best view where I was sat. Will take your word for it and understand the criticism more.
MVE was at fault for the goal, ball watching. Really poor.
And some young Aussie when he's fitWhat’s really encouraging is the variation of options we have in forward positions now. On the right the trickery and skill of Sakamoto and the pace and pressing of BTA. Through the middle the awkwardness of Simms and the game intelligence of Bassette and on the left the skill and unpredictability of Wright with the strength and pace of Mason-Clarke.
It was more the last part . It was quick passing and movement that creates the chanceMVE didn’t do a great job, but it all started from Allen pressing when he had absolutely no need to, leaving a man free and a great big hole in behind..and MVE had two men occupying him to be fair, but I take your point
and add to that the speed of thought and play of a premier league team, and you’re in the shit!

We gave it away by another individual errorSheafs pass wasn't great but their first goal was great movement
It happensWe gave it away by another individual error
I thought he was referring to Sheaf trying to play through the press?agree, but if Allen had stood firm and not had a rush of blood to press, and completely miss, the ball and the tackle there would’ve been far less space and maybe Spence wouldn’t have made the run…. maybe…..
I think MR alluded to it in post match interview when he said certain players decided to play the press when they didn’t have to… maybe

You can’t deny we were again incredibly wasteful with chances. Sheaf’s assist notwithstanding
Just got back. What can I say, bit of a robbery from Spurs, their fans were as pathetic as their players.
I was incredibly impressed by Bassette, thought Rudoni and Eccles ran the game until they went off and whoever was sitting on or around row DD/EE in Block 12 close to Block 11, you can shove your preconceived notion of Haji Wright straight up your arse, fuck off and don't return you fucking waste of space.
Shouted that Wright was "lazy" when he lost the ball early in the first half. Sloppy, maybe, but "lazy", what the fuck are you talking about? I was the guy who was cheering obnoxiously while looking back in Block 11 when Wright did something well. Twat!

Bassette has to start SaturdayWell, if anything, we’ve now shown how good we are capable of playing. This performance should be used as a benchmark for the level we want to be at for the rest of the season. Hopefully this isn’t just another Wolves or Man United where we’re capable of raising our game massively against Prem opposition but then don’t turn up against average Championship teams. Turn up on Saturday and play like we did tonight and we should blow Swansea out of the water, let’s see if we can do it.
So do I I’ve been to every game this season and when he plays it looks like a child against men.He wasn’t, but okay.
I’m not his biggest fan in centre mid, but I do watch football with my eyes actually open…
I agree. He looked so much more dangerous than anything else we’ve had upfront so far this season. Plus, what message does it send to the lad if he’s benched after that performance? He’s clearly a very confident guy. 19 years old, been in the country a month and already demanding the ball, showing for it constantly and not afraid to dig into his teammates when they aren’t pulling their weight.Bassette has to start Saturday
