Doing us a bit of a disservice there. We were excellent that season outside of that terrible opening. Only lost one of the last 17 iirc, were great on that run in with thumping wins at Huddersfield, Blackpool and QPR, conceded fewer than all but the top 3. We were well worthy of the 5th place finish. Great spirit and greater than the sum of our parts, but not sure we 'scraped in'.
not taking any credit away from us, I’m trying to make a point that even with prob 2 of the best players in the league we weren’t guaranteed a play off spot until the last game, this squads got enough about it to do the same, forget what’s going on, just get behind them,

It's as if every team that usually qualifies for the play offs is 10 points clear of 7th. It's one of the most competitive leagues in the world FFS.

Looks like a nice day again tomorrow for the match . At least those who make last minute decisions to go won’t get rained on picking up tickets 👍

Sound like both Sheaf and Saka will be on the bench for the Swansea game this w/e, and neither will be risked on Wednesday. I reckon it's going to be Torp, Rudoni, Latibeaudiere in midfield.

He had cramp, and if Sheaf doesn't play then he has to (for some reason vice captain has to be on the pitch when Sheaf's not available). Pretty sure he plays unless his leg has fallen off.

I thought it looked more like a hamstring but prepared to take advice, big emphasis on this in today's interview with MR!

You don't think one of them may be risked earlier, again listening to his interview today?

Didn't realise he'd already given his press conference, will give it a listen. Hope Sheaf plays, as long as it doesn't aggravate anything of course.

Just hope for a good performance and for Torp and Eccles to have decent games. Would be good to see both of them build from Watford 1st half

I don’t think we’ll be a winning team, I just think we’ll be a better team with sheaf in it.

as @TomRad85 says, it’s all incredibly frustrating and demoralizing at present
Have a browse of the stats on this site, hopefully it'll change your mindset and cheer you up a bit!

As others have said, stats can be selective to prove one side of an argument or the other, but personally I see a lot of positives here indicating that the goals and points will come -

- We're in the top 6 of the xG stats
- Top of Progressive Carries
- Second in Progressive Passes
- Fifth in shots on target
- Fifth in shot creating actions
- Fifth in average distance of shots on target (indicating the opposition keepers have played well against us)
- We've only stopped 1 cross
- We've played 19 different players (Burnley have played 30!)
- We've the 4th youngest team

Now you might look at that and say 'well duh, I can see we can't hit a barn door atm' and whilst that is true, but I really don't think we've played anywhere near as badly as people think. My worry is can we keep these stats up against the likes of Burnley/Leeds, because if we can, the goals will come and we'll be fine for a top 6 spot.

Surely that's not a rule is it?
