2024/25 League 1 Champs?

I really don’t care too much about this result, if anything more about the performance, which has been pretty impressive against a top half premier league team…. BUT

Jamie Allen is a huge weak link in that team, and also weirdly the changes fucked it, particularly taking Rudoni and Wright off, and actually Simms too even though on reflection probably not the worst as he had a few chances

and you can’t blame Torp for the goal either, poor pass by Sheaf when it was completely unnecessary

never mind, hopefully they will take that as a boost into the rest of the season now

Thought we gave a really good account of ourselves , should have been 3 or 4 up before they scored .. a real shame it couldn't atleast be decided by spot kicks , but we largely looked very good .

Onto Swansea

Our players were excellent - Rudoni, Bassette, Eccles and Wilson chiefly.
Spurs brought Maddison, Son, Spence and Kulusevski off the bench and they made the difference - we just don't play against players of that quality often.

I dunno how Eccles and rudoni went off over Allen. Well I do it's about resting for sat

Allen worked tirelessly but he looked inferior final 10 mins

Emc is missing chances but I'm not sure it's anything to be angry about. We are so unlucky to lose today
He’s playing in the league above for the first time, I’m confident he’ll come good.

Generally played really well until the subs. Our subs killed us. Simms, Torp, Mason Clark and Sheaf were shocking.

The Tottenham coach not happy with Maddison
Subs showed that Robins wasn’t really arsed about winning the game. Basically just took off everyone who is likely to start on Saturday. No way Allen should have played 90 minutes, he was awful second half.
Allen really wasn't awful second half, he struggled the last 10 minutes when his legs were going, but not the whole of the second half

Gut wrenching. Subs not up to speed.

Positive note if we show grit like this in the league STARTING NOW we'll be in with a shout
