Suicidal from Sheaf. Was miles off the pace, to be expected but that really was pathetic.

We gifted them back into it, plain and simple, utterly gifted them.

As soon as our subs came on all composure went out the window. Can count what, 3 passes we made from 80 mins onwards, amd I'm genuinely not exaggerating

We were doing perfectly well until the changes. Again, they were the wrong ones. We held our own all game, to lose is such a crime because we played so well and fought for our lives. They should be proud of themselves as we looked genuinely the better team for a lot of it.

Sheaf worth 25 million and Premier League quality? Must have been a coincidence that no one came in for him. There's always that slip up waiting to happen. I wonder how deep the denial and defense will go tonight. Yes, we should have taken more chances, but that was the moment that fucked it all down the shitter. So utterly frustrating.

That was the worst performance I’ve seen from Van Ewjick - never got forward and gave the ball away frequently in dangerous positions.

Hindsight is great but if fit is have left Wright on

Subs did not do what was needed. Such a shame. Rudoni was excellent. Bassette, Eccles, Binks, Bidwell, Thomas, and Wilson also very good. Disappointed with Wright again as well as all the subs.

Allen was exhausted.
Eccles our best player.

Torp for Rudoni killed us

Subs showed that Robins wasn’t really arsed about winning the game. Basically just took off everyone who is likely to start on Saturday. No way Allen should have played 90 minutes, he was awful second half.

None of that makes any sense who else would you brought off and brought on. The Hound will not start on Saturday. Allen was not awful.

At that point you just put your foot through it. You could see Torp was surrounded

Terrible game management; Spurs subs made a difference but so did ours.

Taking both Eccles and Bassette off at the same time was a poor decision. Lost our threat and our urgency in midfield. Although we should have been out of sight by then anyway.

Anyway, it’s a poor man’s FA Cup. No-one is that proud to win it. Prefer to focus on the league.

Ahh the old neggy nancys out in full force I see. This is exactly the entitlement people keep talking about. Nothing to be negative about from that. Fuck it off will you.

Sheaf shouldn’t have come on is the truth. No match sharpness and played a hospital pass to Torp.

A draw and a loss might not feel good on paper, but think they’ll play a big role in getting our season up and running. Great performances that will turn into wins in no time.

He’s playing in the league above for the first time, I’m confident he’ll come good.
Me too. We have a good team

Just annoyed the subs didn't press and defend with same intensity. Although robins may have asked us to drop deeper

If only mve had not kicked the ball into Werner lol

Had so many chances to put that game to bed, then fuck it up in vintage CCFC style.

Would be nice not to lose these games in the most wrenching way possible for once
I wouldn't say it's vintage CCFC style anymore. 6 years ago maybe

Rudoni wouldnt have come off and he wouldn’t have brought Sheaf on to get minutes in his legs.

What changes would you have made then

Not sure that Wilson covered himself in glory for either goal in truth, bit he did pull off a couple of cracking saves.

Decent performance regardless, and Bassette looked exceptional.

I know it was forced on us to some degree, but I thought we looked a lot more threatening breaking from deep with pace, than this grindingly slow possession football we seem to get drawn into against 'lesser' teams.
