One of those little football phrases that we never give a second thought. But in real life what is a ‘knock’?
“Can’t make it in today boss, picked up a knock last night”

Hangover. Could work if you really had to but better to rest it for a day.

If you were a woman I could understand you saying you got knocked up last night.

Would say for certain Grimmer not 100% fit but Thompson is ready for first team, good player. The Bayliss one well he was subbed last week so I’d say he has a knock which has been kept quiet, same with Sterling, still a good team going out there and I’m still confident of a good result.

Bizarre going with Thompson instead of hyam at CB and Willis at RB... can’t quite fathom it
See what you are saying but why make two changes for one injury ? Defence was resolute last week especially second half continuity is important.

Bit odd Thompson instead of Grimmer. Thompson is a CB so why do we keep on bringing him in at RB. Hickman is same age and right sided as well. I'd rather see the youngster in their comfortable position in the centre and Willis at RB.

Also think it's a bit defensive to replace Bayliss with Ogogo. No Andreu again even withthe injury so doesn't look promising for him.

I imagine you don’t want to change two of your back four if you can get away with only changing one. Makes sense to me.

Not confident at all now. Happy with a draw.

Anyone know a VPN that works for iplayer? Fancy trying to watch it again.

Sterling has gone back to Chelsea to be “assessed” apparently!
Sounds a bit ominous, hope it’s not too serious.

After we score 3 think it’s safe to start singing ‘we want 6’.

Hmm interesting the Thompson picked ahead of Grimmer and Ogogo picked ahead of Kelly...!!!
Hope both of them justify managers selection.

Dom sterling has tweeted he hopes to be back soon... So I guess it's just a small injury. Typical though no under 23s this week, no match so a full weeks training after 2 days off and a hard set of fixtures and we get 2 fucking injuries

They have brought a player back out to train. Is he a sub getting extra in? Can't see his number but he is managing to score into an empty net
