I think we'll lose. I'm not forgetting that they are a championship team with some good quality.

All I hope is that the fans don't start turning negative if we lose. I sense a meltdown of 'we won't be able to compete in the championship' if we lose comfortably.

Blues have a long trip to Middlesbrough and back tomorrow (unless they fly to Newcastle), hopefully this will derail them.

Big gulf in quality between Championship and League 1.
Robins will go full strength I think. Will be interesting to see which way Blues go. If they go strong, feel we will be outclassed.
They scored 4 at St Andrew's Vs Leeds....!!
Thankfully it is a one off... and we know anything can happen in football...

I am looking forward to see how we perform against a mid table championship team. I watched the TV of their match at the weekend and they are a strong team, and LJ is a major threat.

It will be interesting

Birmingham are clearly the favourites, but it’s cup football and teams with contrasting form.

I think we could turn them over! 2-1.

We will always have those who wait to be able to come out with negativity.

Me? Positivity is the key.

Our home record this season is much better than their away record.

They should be ready to attack us. This will leave us space to counter attack. Could work out nicely.

They aren't mid-table, they are lower half.
They have a -11 goal difference and have won only one of their last 5 league games.
I'm going for us to win 2-1. But it all depends on which CCFC team shows up.

Work with a lot of blues fans who seem to think they're going to rest some players as they've been dragged in to a relegation battle no pressure on us being the underdogs so can see an upset would still change the wing backs and godden for biamou though they covered a lot of ground at Doncaster Saturday and Tuesday away to Fleetwood will be another test just hope we perform as well as we have been regardless the result! #PUSB

I’d play Biamou just cos he’s in better form at the moment, don’t get the idea Godden needs resting when he has two months off earlier in the season. Him and Allen should be good for the rest of the year.

I presume it will be the one that has only lost three league games this season. “Depends in which CCFC team shows up” - sorry mate but crass statement - we have only been 90 minutes poor in two league games this season

I'd like to be out of the Cup. Fixture congestion is our enemy this close to the end of the season and we are already one game behind most of the others. Games in hand rarely seem to turn into maximum points. So a draw and City winning the replay is the worst possible scenario for me. So I would rest 2 or 3 key players - whoever Robins thinks would most benefit. I'd like to see if Pask can build on his performance against Bristol Rovers. An honourable defeat would suit admirably.

I would rather just miss out on promotion if it meant winning the FA Cup final.

What are you talking about? How is he in better form lol? He's doing well yeah but Godden is the better option

Can see why people are confident and of course I hope to win, but like others have said I’m expecting a reality check and for Birmingham to win comfortably.

Last few games they’ve started I think Biamou is on the up and Godden coming down off a high is all. Micro form maybe if that’s such a thing.

Have to be honest not sure what I would do or MR will do first XI wise for this one - I reckon he may go with the following.

Marosi
Pask
Mason
Rose
MacFadzean
Hyam
Kelly
Walsh
O'Hare
Shipley
Biamou

Subs: Wilson, Dabo, McCallum, Allen, Westbrooke, Godden, Baka

There is big difference between the two divisions. Blues (although not having their greatest season) are a well established Championship side. I can see them coming out on top 2-1

Big day out once a year crowd will be “typical citying” their special big day out corduroys off if we don’t win. That’s untold amounts of pressure.
You have put on weight since embracing fatherhood - easily done though.

"Never going again, ever ever ever ever ever"

“Knew it”

Only half joking really though. Hopefully people won’t be too disappointed if we do lose. Division above etc. But if we do win....

Nah no pressure from me. Pressures on in the league for me.
Bigger pressure games played at Portsmouth and Sunderland away. Sunderland was much bigger crowd.
