Thought there might have been 7k today given the weather and how we are playing but won’t lose sleep over that.
Joint 1st tonight! PUSB!

You do have to worry we have peaked. Wondered if a sustained period of success will get more people to come to watch us in Birmingham

But it's bank holiday weekend with lovely weather, would have been fewer people than normal if we were still at the Ricoh

Hardly been sparkling to have peaked yet, wasn’t an amazing performance today but very professional. Last year that would have been 1-1.
I am quite liking life at SA weirdly, i know we need to get back to the Ricoh butnwe seem to play with a little more freedom and everyone seems really nice at the pubs and the ground too. It’s clearly the best case scenario for the pubs etc at the moment as they are full every Saturday now rather than bi-weekly but they also seem to be making an effort too. A season away might do us some good

Typical Grendel cliche

That twat Grendel is obviously in a bad mood as we've won again. He hates that as it gives him less chance to moan and complain. So he's looking for a fight. That's right - we have a poster who hates to see us do well.

He actually posted a couple of constructive and positive posts last week after being majorly taken down by a couple of posters on here - but it was only a matter of time before the old twat returned with his nonsense.

Tou would like to think so but its the same scenario as wembley. If we get there again im sure the missing 40,000 will sudenly appear

How would we be on 15,000 we hardly ever got that at the Ricoh

I’m not in agreement but a lot who are going that I’ve spoken to prefer St Andrews
I think they want the st andrews experience in Coventry.

great to see so many youngsters do well. Delighted with the win and onwards. Can’t help think we will do better than some who predicted mid table with this squad.
It's a far better start than I feared. Bolton was an awful result but, it's been balanced out by the others so now it's just frustrating we could have been out on our own top of the league, and that's more than I could have hoped for!

Got to keep it up to keep the crowds up but, if he can do that, Robins might just go up a place or two in the best manager list ;)

He was awful
He's clearly not awful, but has limitations. I don't mind that tbh as long as the player plays within them. He seems disciplined (I guess why Robins likes him) and doesn't give the ball away very often. I like the dinked corners too, much like McAllister used to do with great success.
The trouble is with him in the middle with Kelly and Shipley is we won't create much, but as a back-up to Chicago and Allen, he's ok.

Good news ??? Hope we don’t ever get bad news, after Tuesday had we been at the Ricoh I reckon we’d be on for approaching 15k. 5k+ is about as good as it gets and we’ll be relying on away fans to bolster the crowd.
Have you been in the sun too long? Of course its good news that the crowd is being sustained. The alternative is that hundreds, if not thousands who attended the first game decide its too much hassle and stop going. That leads to a budget cut for Robins.

The L1 games at the Ricoh that have topped 15K, excluding community day for obvious reasons, have had 5K plus away fans, Gillingham bought 383!

Thought we controlled the game very well, and we never really looked threatened!

Good performance, but this was an opportunity to put Gillingham to the sword. You don’t even want to give them the opportunity to get back into it!

I think you need help - do I occupy your thoughts all the time? If you like I’ll show you what some other posters think of these players I apparently hate

They were fucked.
To come off Tuesdays performance and get a win is immense.
Still averaging 2 points per game. Automatic promotion form.

Agreed. I like both Shipley and Westbrooke - but it may be that Westbrooke is best suited to Kelly's role if he's out with a knock? I also like Shipley's driving energy a lot and he's a threat running into the box for sure.

On saying that can't wait to see a midfield 3 of O'Hare - Kelly - Allen in action in the near future.

Aye, a win is a win. Just wary about the goals scored tally. Other teams are doing to Bolton what we should’ve done - there’s winning and there’s obliterating teams. One day we’ll be 1-0 up again in the 90th minute and it’ll bite us on the arse.

Others teams will (and have) lose to Bristol rovers, portsmouth etc

Bolton wont define our season

Arsenal did ok out of 1-0’s

We have Allen, Jones, kast out and Godden will only get better

You could well be right. Also nice to see reasonable responses which arent just an insults.

Well at Sixfields the crowds rose steadily with some good form and then when the form fell away so did the crowds. I'm pretty sure they won't touch 10,000 though unless we're in title contention.

After the immense performance on Tuesday it was always going to be tough to be all guns blazing today. But the lads put in a solid shift to see through the win.

Special mention to Hyam who was fantastic at the back with Rose who has been very steady since coming in to the club. But McCallum put in a fantastic shift at right back. He is going to play at a much higher level.

Godden worked hard and should have scored from the header in the first half. I’m worried if he is injured or out we lose that focal point up front. Hiwula was awful today and Baka just useless. I do wonder if we need another striker in on loan and shift a few out on loan.

Kelly great in the middles with Jobello a decent outlet. Sometimes wish he would take on a man a bit more.

The villa kid looked hungry when he came on and I think he will start in place of Westbrooke eventually. Great movement and energy.

Dabo and Kastaneer will back from suspension and Jamie Allen to come which adds plenty of healthy competition.

All in all a good week at the office. Joint top but we need to score more goals as goal difference could be critical come end of season if we are still in the mix.

BREAKING:
SISU announce plans to built St. Andreu’s stadium in the Coventry City Centre. The stadium has been named after Coventry City legend Tony Andreu, whose name sounds like Birmingham stadium liked by Coventry fans “St. Andrew’s”. The provisional design:
