Hopefully Donald Trump’s next bizarre declaration will be an offer to rebuild our defence, midfield and attack at half time.

The shitshow started by the passivity of the start, which was tentative leading to nervousness. We should be confident at home to take the game to them. They are decent enough without gifting them two goals.
Unfortunately earlier season individual flaws have re-surfaced.
Cannot see a way out of this.

I think we need several changes and the forward positions are one of our main (but many) problems
i know BTA scored a worldie last week and he’s a nice bloke but he’s extremely poor with the ball at his feet, can’t get his head up, and has poor decision making. I am not sure what he offers at all in our current setup. Simms as i said earlier is like eeyore and i expect after thst clanger will be mentally absent again for a while

They are both not at the level. Infuriating

Well, that was a huge disappointment. No pressure from the front, 2 gifts of goals (although feel slightly sorry for Dovin, bobbled up and hit him in the face), no threat going forward, nothing in midfield. Outplayed, out-fought, outclassed. Need to make some changes. Bring on Bassette to pressure from the front, and Grimes.

Leeds are very good, but we've been so poor.

The ball in behind our wing backs is killing us. MVE in the first 25 mins and then Bidwell keeps getting done in the last 20 odd.

I would go Grimes and Sakamoto for Allen and BTA

I don’t get the argument that Leeds are so good. They’re hardly that far infront of Sheffield United and Burnley, should we write off the game against those too?

Aren’t they unbeaten in 13?

BTA, MvE, Torp all playing like Leeds have been in their nightmares for life. Latibeaudiere important clearance but he’s been shite too.

Well, that was quite the half:

- Leeds are class, and in part showing us where we really are at - especially based on our current record being against teams in shite form. Nevertheless, we really just haven't shown up.

- Despite the fact Leeds should be 3/4 up, both of their goals were absolute gifts. If we were on our game this would be 0-0 no doubt.

- Only bright sparks if we can call it that are Kitching and Torp. The former looking bang up for it (despite being all over the shop like rest of defence at times), and Torp's class on the ball is awesome.

- If I'm FL, I'm ringing changes at half time. Grimes should be on for Allen as a minimum. Don't think it will be long till we see Eccles for Rudoni either (who despite his huff isn't having his best game either).

I'd have taken a point pre game - now I'll take "a good 2nd half performance loss" 😅

Far too deep and so negative just like watching a Robins team. Is it respect I don’t know but if we try to sit in we ain’t getting anything so may as well get in their faces and tackle the fuckers

Only positive thing to say at least it's only 2-0.

So poor after winning four on the bounce - they look absolutely shit scared like a conference team playing Liverpool.

Definitely Grimes on at HT and I'd be tempted to say Eccles too. After that bring the likes of Bassette on to give players a rest ahead of Sat.

Need to improve drastically everywhere and in every way.

Allen’s has been good recently but this was always going to be the game that reminds everyone of that extra gear he doesn’t have. Being a willing runner isn’t enough

Annoying that we didn’t make them work for either goal
Agreed. Solid player generally but just hasn't got that bit of extra class against the better teams.

Well, by that rationale you could argue that we’e basically the same team that beat them and drew with them last year.
Not really the same argument, Leeds have been consistently dominant for 2 and a half seasons. We can beat anyone on our day but takes a bit of luck as well as everyone being fully at it. Sadly today's not that day.

Doesn't mean all that much in the grad scheme really,

And in defence of Dov8n he should never have got that far. Red Sea defence again.

Leeds by far the best team I’ve seen up here this year. Their passing and movement is a different level. Too much respect though and a couple of poor goals. Lampard has got to change formation and make a sub or two at HT (grimes got to come on)

Switch to a 4-3-3. Grimes for Allen who has been anonymous, Saka for one of the CBs.

We're going to lose playing like this so we might at least lose while going for it.

The manner of that first half was beyond frustrating. I know they're miles ahead of everyone else at this level, but you've still got to try and put up a fight. Mentality looked all wrong.
