I thought the signing of JCH was a strange one, He wasn't good enough in league 2 last year and now he's our main striker.

I’d presume we only signed him to a promotion clause in his loan contract, especially as he wasn’t first choice in league 2

Bakayoko is now out too ... for 8 weeks ? ... So stuck with JCH for another 2 months ... great, that's going to help ... NOT !

So, Bakayoko is out for 8 weeks,Sterling is out for 8 weeks and Willis is out for 8 weeks.

Is that right? ;)

Probably the worst home performance I've seen from us. As said, it's not that we lost it's the manner in which it happened.

I was fucking fuming and left early to get the train.

We were beaten by the better (and physically bigger) side. 1-2 was flattering. Could have been worse. That it was going to be bad was obvious after as little as 5 minutes
We set up as 4-5-1 - for a home match very defensive. Shipley and Hiwula were both on the left, but JCH all on his lonesome
Why was Bayliss MOTM? One run that was it. Several misplaced passes. I think the opposition are now pre-wired to what he does. Allessani did more in 10 minutes that pretty well everyone else in 90 minutes. He is JJ mk2. Almost MOTM for just 4 touches. Has to be in the team - VERY fast feet
We conceded two goals from inside the 6 yard box - query must be about Willis, Davies and Burge - esp Burge
The neatest play was from Brown and Hiwula on the left
Thomas has got to keep his head up-goes down blind alleys continually
Things I thought I'd never say - they needed Doyle, and with a 5 man midfield, could have afforded him. Leadership was lacking
Apart from one charge down, Shipley did literally nothing, nada, nothing, diddly squat, SFA, bugger all.
As said earlier - why don't people like Brown? A really good performance when most others were dross. Crosses with both feet for heaven's sake
Did the SBA all go Christmas shopping?

Had the urgency shown in the 3 minutes after penalty been shown earlier, we might have got something - interestingly we were playing desperate route 1 football (coaching issue?)
Oh it was a well taken penalty, firm and right in the corner.

Looking back at the game on video, that great cross from Grimmer (who had a fairly good competitive game with lots of effort) was spot on JCH's head. very similar to the one Long put in for Ings watching MOTD. You simply couldn't miss! But what actually happened is far worse. he fluffed his header, didn't even get his head on it! How on earth could you not score? That's the level JCH is - league 2 at best if not national league. he is woefully out of his depth.
Brown is consistent and played well again.
Willis at fault again with poor defending...he has lost much of his mojo. Hyam is better.
Kelly was effective but lacked any outlets due to us playing so deep. He needs his partner Doyle.
Allissani looked up for it and on the 10 minutes or so he had must be in line for a starting place to get us fired up!
Bayliss needs the freedom to venture forward in support of a front two. Hiwula has the skill set (he scored by the way) and I'd like to see him and Chaplin getting in the box all game.
We need someone like a Peter Crouch so the ball sticks and feeding the likes of Chaplin. I really think Stuart Bevan would be better up top than JCH.
