MK Don's just announced they've signed Ben Gladwin. Very good player on his day, doesn't say if he's eligible for tomorrow.
He hasn't played a game this season. I doubt that he is anywhere near match fit.

He made his comeback for Blackburn u23s in November and has been training with MK Don's for the last few weeks.

Probably not ready to start but could be a threat off the bench. Remember him scoring against us for Swindon before he got his big move.

It wasn't me who used 'trapping' the ball, but I completely agree with your point. Trapping hasn't been a thing for a long time. He should have got rid of it, the touch is poor, what happened before was unnecessary. He should still shoulder some of the blame when it gets to that point though.
Agreed

Mate he is going to be no where near fit enough.

I remember standing in the kop in the late ‘60’s. You were scared to breath out in case someone took your space.

Yes and when really packed for a derby or in those days FA Cup tie (when it was still revered as a competition) you would go to the loo or for a pie and have to squeeze your way through to get back where you were and often lose your place at the lean to cross bar. I remember even being lifted off my feet by the crowd and moving down several flights of terracing! I was justa kid mind!

This is going to be a very tough game. They are a team that’s on a roll now and suddenly high on confidence. New manager, Russell Martin, has turned them around and sounded very confident in his pre-match interview. Their player, Alex Kibley, won player of the month for Dec. So we cannot take them lightly and have to be on our A game to beat them.

Yep it ain’t going to be as easy as people think.

That said we need to win this game to keep the pressure on and to maintain our form.

I may have missed it but has it been confirmed McCallum is out today?

Think Robins said he might be OK quote wasn’t clear though.

: Sam has trained, and there’s no new injuries and hopefully that’s the case come tomorrow

Final question; we’ve got a couple of mates coming with us for the first time today (not season ticket holders) - can they buy on the gate?

As with most games this season, I’m feeling optimistic about this afternoon.

They have improved, so it won’t be as easy as expected, but we are still the superior team.

I’d expect the same team as the last few games, but I’d like to see Allen given a good 30 minutes or so to make a mark. I’ve been impressed with the bits I’ve seen so far, so I’d like to see how much more he can do over a longer period.

I wonder how people today are still absolutely clueless about football and still don’t understand our style of play, and we’ll hear the usual ‘get it forward’ shit.

3-1 City, Godden (2), Shipley.

Surprised we haven’t seen the classic would we prefer:
Win the league game and lose the cup game?
Lose the league game and win the cup game
Draw the league game and lose or win the cup game
Or lose both games
Or win both games

I’m going for the bottom option
