yes. you'd never know these are the league leaders. frustrating end to the half, but pleased how much we are still in this game.
Shipley is not good enough for this league Doyle left Pompey when they got promoted to this league.We bought a couple of decent player's to replace these but haven't given them a chance. Doyle taking corners and free kicks is a fucking joke. MR needs to sort his uncreative midfield out with don't have any runners from midfield.

Agree with that, it's system not player though. There isn't room for both Bayliss and Andreu in the same team.

It’s not unfair he doesn’t seem to be playing with any confidence or belief and doesn’t want the ball at the moment. I’d take him out the team for a while

You can because they are 1-0 up from 1 of 2 chances. We could have about 4 days in some games and still not test the keeper.

Andreu, Shipley and Doyle had poor half. Doyle sees every pass but just can’t execute it. Andreu looks off the pace and Shipley making poor decisions every time. Portsmouth look quite comfortable and I expect them to try and shut up shop and hit us on break. Baylis needs to put a good final pass in after he breaks from midfield. Sterling again has impressed at left back...just looks more confident.

People blaming him for passing to Doyle well Doyle could have just slipped it to Bayliss. He’s trying to make stuff happen. Watch the movement when hyam has the ball he’s the only one showing

Don’t know why Robins selected Andreu from his first half showing. Not exactly sure what’s he’s good at from what I’ve seen this season

So Doyle didn't have 2 men on him then? But Shipley got squeezed by 2 defenders. Not a great pass, but Doyle got mugged, Davies let the striker peel off and no one closed the shooter. Not to mention the lack of movement for Shipley from the original pass.

I can't remember where I saw it but when he joined I saw some stats that seemed to show he was more effective as a central midfielder through his career. Not sure I could find them again now, and stats don't always tell the full story.
