Tbf to Bayliss he spent the first half of last season running around for Doyle. He'd work much better in this system I think. Westbrooke and Shipley have done well, in the case of the former better than expected and improving still.Jordan Shipley this season
21 games 3 goals 3 assists
Tom bayliss last season
41 games 3 goals 3 assists
17 months age difference
Zain Westbrooke
15 games 3 goals 4 assists
Bin Kasta in Jan or keep him?

Bakayoko is categorically not one of our worst ever strikers. As others I’ve said he scores more than Fans hero McNulty at this level. What he is is a young lad low on confidence who, like all our other strikers, gets pretty poor service when on his own up top.
The miss was poor, we’ve seen all of our strikers miss open goals this season. Welcome to League One, where have you been the last few years?
People like to say about O’Hare being the better player, but he doesn’t have the influence that Enobakhare did. Imo O’Hare’s miss against Colchester was worse than Bakayoko’s yesterday.
Not sure that can be coached as it is instinct as much as anything. He has done it from time to time but just doesn't enough, he seems switched off a lot of the time. Interesting watching Godden play compared with BakaThere was a brilliant cross towards the end of the first half where a natural striker would have already started moving to get Infront of the defender, he doesn't do it and it's frustrating to watch
At least he got it on target...
That’s fair enough. All I’m saying is Bakayoko didn’t look on his toes, which is still pretty naff. O’Hare looked like he was paid not to score, the ball was moving slower and along the floor.
I do like this workaround of 1 striker and 2 atrack mids buzzing aroujd him and pushing on mind you
O hare could be a starter in this role
Sunderland away next. Tough game. Win and autos are back on. Draw and playoffs on. Lose and well still playoffs possible!
Auto’s? My word-you weren’t one of them singing E I E I E I O were you considering it’s only the middle of November?I do like this workaround of 1 striker and 2 atrack mids buzzing aroujd him and pushing on mind you

We git pronoted just 2 years ago. Dont tell me we cant look to do it again
They must have really improved because they looked like relegation fodder last seasonWycombe don’t look like they’re falling away any time soon. 2-0 up at Tranmere. They go top
We will play them off the parkHopefully they will fall away 2nd half of season. Or get peomoted alongside us aa had a soft sppt foe them since they werw non league. Their name sounded cool lol

And what about Rashford's miss for Man Utd last week? All strikers will miss chances, it's how they react to it which is the real thing for discussion. In Bakayoko's case, I think he just doesn't believe in himself enough. To be fair, Yeovil had a near identical miss to Baka’s this week. Just looks worse because he’s basically on the goal line.
...with alsop in goal, and grimmer at rightbackWycombe don’t look like they’re falling away any time soon. 2-0 up at Tranmere. They go top
O hares the week before was worse I think
Biamou and godden will be a good pairing when both back
Yes he was a regular until December ishDid we have Doyle last season ???
Baka edges this one for me being a striker he looked closer than O’Hare to me tooO hares the week before was worse I think
So what you're saying is we fucked it up then? You do realise that’s because we haven’t been playing on it?

Wonder if we have any on here :woot:
Ta.. I had forgotten. It seems a lifetime ago since he was clogging his way around the pitch. We have moved on so much since then in terms of style of play.Yes he was a regular until December ish

we have only lost one more game than them. every chance we can challenge at the top end this season
But they have 7 more points than us as they have won 3 more games
We can reduce that to 1 simply through our matches against each other
Surely on form and games won they have a better chance of doing that against us? I’m not sure I would use the world simply
