Set up because they were disgruntled with CCFC like a lot of us are. Nothing wrong with letting people know they exist IMO. Not really touting. They're not exactly being pushy about it.

Second point is fair. There are a few Coventry based teams and even more in Warwickshire for those that live outside the city.

No football club is ever needed. This is non league, not premier league. There are more clubs than just Sphinx in Coventry. Sphinx are just the highest ranked.

If this dispute drags on all season - what's the prospects then?
Are you all prepared to soldier on in the likelihood of five years - possibly forever - out of Coventry?
Or do you embrace the idea of a Phoenix club? (and TAKING BACK our heritage from Sisu, who have kidnapped it for the moment)?
Coventry United/Sphinx may be our best bet for a reformed CCFC. With discussions with them about changing to Sky Blue, subtle name change. All up in the air I know.
But I doubt very many posters on here will want ANOTHER season like this one.
Without being over the top, CCFC as we know it, will be dead to a lot of fans if we go into a second season at Northampton.
We might not like it, but if this debacle goes on after Xmas, serious thought will have to be given to a 'reclaimed' CCFC back in Coventry, albeit, lower down the pyramid.
At least we'll be free of Sisu.
AND, I stress, we'll be looking to take back our history.

The green and red are the Civic colours of Coventry City.
We all know Chris Owen well.

They were also the colours of my school, Woodlands in the late 60's/early 70's.

Does Woodlands still exist and are they still the school clours?

It does (assuming you mean the place on Broad Lane where they do Powerleague now), although they call themselves and academy rather than school nowadays.
