City have won 35 of those games and drawn 32 times. They have scored 154 goals compared to Palace's 133.
In the last meeting, City lost 2-0 at Palace in November.

In the only FA Cup tie between the two sides, Palace won 4-2 at Coventry on January 11th 1908.

My Predictions

Formation

Gunnarson Doyle, Carsley(C), McSheffrey
Eastwood, Lukas.J

Score: 2-0 (Eastwood,McSheffrey)

Will King be banned? Is it only League games?

McPake is injured for a month also.

I would play this:

Westwood

Keogh Wood Cameron Cranie

Gunnar Doyle Carsley Baker

Juke Eastwood

I wish we had other options in Centre Mid and Centre Half :(

I read that King would be suspended for this, yes. Personally i think that's a good thing; to get one of his suspensions out the way for the more-important league.

I reckon we'll record a win anyway. Then again, i thought that for the last 2 games as well. Starting to awake the pessimist that hides somewhere in me.
Won't be at the game because of it's proximity to exam week, but hopefully those there do have something to cheer.

I wud love us to play the lad Connor Thomas nxt to carsley in the middle. The kids ment to be good and seeming we r missing something in centre, this game wud b the perfect induction.

Speaking of lack of options in the middle, when is Deegan due back? Wouldn't mind seeing what he could do. Would give us a bit more bite, although not sure if he's got the creative spark that we need so badly right now.

Jeez, knew he was a long-term injury but i didn't realise it was THAT long term!
Anyway, at least when Clingan's back that'll give us a bit more in the centre than what Doyle gives us.

I would rather he kept Doyle in the team and dropped Carsley for Clingan.

Neither Clingan or Carsley do much running, when they play together there is not much closing down. Doyle gives you the legs to close down!

I would have agreed last season but apparantly when Clingan has played this season the ProZone stats show him as clocking up more miles on the pitch then the rest of the team

Id like to see Doyle and Clingan together to mix it up a little. Going to predict a 1-0 win by on form Freddie. Not at the game due to exam's next week but going to be listening to the radio commentary. PUSB:)

Palace without star man

Crystal Palace are likely to travel to Coventry tomorrow without their talismanic attacking midfielder Darren Ambrose.
The 26 year has been suffering from a persistent hamstring niggle that hasn't prevented him from training and playing regular football. he has now decided to check himself into a rehabilitation clinic in an attempt to once and for all, rectify the problem. He will undergo an intensive training regime in an effort to regain top fitness.
Ambrose was an unused substitute in Palace's 1-0 win over relegation threatened Preston last week and it is looking increasingly unlikely he will be ready for the FA Cup clash at The Rioch on Saturday.
Ambrose explained: "In the last six weeks I've only trained three or four times but I've played in nearly all the games."
"It looks like I'll miss the Coventry game. The plan is for me to go to a rehab centre and spend a week there, between five and seven days, to try and improve it, but it's better to be on form than just trying to get through them - that's no good for me or the team. You try and put in a shift but it's really difficult."
