I'm not too sure on what formation we're gonna go with at home now January is done.... I've hedged my bets a little.
Burge dropped for RCC just purely on distribution mainly. With the injection of pace in the side from Vernam RCC's quick distribution suits better to counter... and hopefully we keep it in from a goal kick.

A few more Millwall stats for you....
Millwall have been awarded the most penalties in league one... 7. All converted, conceding only one.
Only kept 1 away clean sheet this season
Failed to score just 3 times on there travels and scored in both half's just twice too which may be of comfort if it's only 0-1 at half time.

You missed the most significant point. Millwall score goals. We might as well not turn up.

I'm trying to be optimistic about today but Millwall have only lost 2 of the last 10. Maybe we'll be the surprise of the day and beat seven bells out of them. Hope the police are out in force.

Let's hope today is about the football, and more importantly, we actually play football not hoofball.

RCC
Foley Clarke Rawson Haynes (he's not a LB but no other choice)
Thomas Bigi Stevenson Reid/Jones (neither have any end product)
Beavon Vernam

Surely with no target man, pace on the wings and up front, it makes sense to play high tempo, running behind type football. If we revert to hoofball and it doesn't work again, I will be even closer to losing faith in RS.

If we play long ball it needs to be down the channels rather than lumped straight down the middle.

Say it every week, we need to mix it up and get into them and have a bit of fight.

Same fixture last year is a good example!

Certainly need to see fight. Players willing to work, track back, tackle, get in their faces ... unfortunately qualities I don't think many in this side have.

So frustrating, as it's the easiest thing they are missing. You could grab a fan out of the stand who could just get in their faces and be a bit of a prick every week.

It also gets the fans going and behind the team, as soon as there is a scuffle or a bit of handbags you see the atmosphere change. If the game is a bit flat, take a yellow for going through one of their players. Jump up and get in his face, tell him hes a prick.

In our case, stand and watch your team mates shrug their shoulders while the millwall players steam in at you.

It should be a recognised football tactic like the Diamond formation.

We need to win this but that side doesn't look good enough and I don't think is our best 11 or strongest bench. What is going on?
