It's a disappointing setback... but let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater- we know we have very real defensive frailties... hopefully this will be the jolt to those that be to seek a solution to them.

The worrying part is that our forwards have struggled against a poor defence.

There's no way Wilson and Clarke can be expected to score every game, they have to have a dip at some point. The question is when they do can the rest of the team step up, either need more goals from elsewhere or the defence to tighten up.

I think maybe we came out thinking Tranmere are having a shocking season, so we'll turn them over quite easily. Unfortunately not.

Clarke is approaching a dip, considering his form since he came has been so consistent. I think we probably need another option to take the pressure off the pair of them,

Makes Tuesday nights game against Rotherham pretty important. If we can keep a clean sheet and grind out a win hopefully the team will get their confidence back.

It might bring some of our fans back down to planet earth.

I can't think of a worse place to be right now than sitting in sixfields in the cold and on the end of a spanking. I feel sorry for the fans down there. Honest. ....

It's even more embarrassing than when they beat us 5-1 when we were a Prem team. Bring back Rapheal Nuzzo I say.

Was he that goalie who claimed he was getting unfair stick because only 3 of the goals were his fault?

too soon bantam, too soon ;)

They had another touch then? :D

Can't remember the last time you lost, bit like I can't remember when we last won......................still, you have had a cracking season so far, a loss is no big deal, but 8 goals in 2 games is, we have 5 CB's is you want one on loan?

Two big set backs in as many weeks. The defensive pairing of short right back and veteran can only do so much and Pressley must know that going forward it needs sorting.
