Burge - 7 - None of the top class saves of recent weeks but was great under the conditions, particularly first half, claiming plenty of high balls and solid kicking throughout.
Sterling - 8 - Looked the part today defensively and going forwards. His assist shows there's still more to come from him. Just nicked MoM for me.
Davies - 8 - Plenty 6 or 7 excellent diagonal passes when our centre midfield was missing, making up for the loss of Hyam's composure on the ball. Defence was relatively untroubled all game and he was at the heart of it.
Willis - 7 - Covered Davies very well and dealt with Akinfenwa when he needed to. Poor in possession with some ropey long balls.
Brown - 6 - Had a solid game but won't get many easier matches than that. Another decent 90 mins in his legs.
Thomas - 7 - His pace troubled Wycombe greatly but he's never scoring more than a 7 until his decision making improves and he gets an assist or goal.
Bayliss - 6 - Was a very average game but when we play like this the game passes him by because we either move the ball wide to our pacey players or Doyle/Willis go long and bypass him. He has to start making runs beyond the strikers to become more effective in games like today otherwise we might as well play another ball winner.
Doyle - 5 - Woeful set pieces, woeful long balls and as I've said recently, just not seeing the impact of his experience/leadership this season.
Hiwula - 6 - Looked dangerous first half but we didn't get the ball enough times to him or Thomas. 2nd half was poor on the ball and think that tiredness was impacting his decision making. More to come from him going forwards I feel but like was barely asked a question defensively.
JCH - 7 - Grew into the match and looked more dangerous as the game opened up 2nd half. Was neither as bad as some made out or as good as Grendel suggested.
Chaplin - 7 - Lots of good stuff (finds space superbly, looks very neat on the ball) and lots of bad (desperation to score was evident in his selfishness near goal). Hope that winner is a catalyst for him.
