If by 11 o'clock we haven't sold anyone then I consider this transfer window to be a success.

Or am I getting carried away because I expected an auction for our entire squad?

hmmm

we have sunk so low that keeping the 18 players we have left, selling last years captain and optas best player in the championship and signing a div 2 striker is considered a success.

:thinking about:

Easily pleased! We've got to the state where we're happy with a squad full of kids and not replacing Aron and King-despite the board insisting that money was still there. We really needed 3 in 0 out to be competitive in this division. I'm gutted at losing Turner. McDonald may be promising, but he's still a gamble rather than a "replacement" for King.

For the 1st time this season, I feel we actually have a chance of staying up. More players are needed (yeah, I'm looking at you, SISU!), but Cody is a start.

Let's pray the good work isn't undone by a January firesale.

Im not particularly happy, same as whats been said before really. Turner gone for a third of his worth, striker who could be good but then eastwood and rod are proven at a league higher than him and havent done the business yet, clingan no doubt go for a free at end of season and jukes heads probably been turned and will no doubt leave in january.

Surprised we kept Clingan. Not surprised we kept Juke. With respect to the lad if I supported another team and they were in for him I wouldn't be that exited

Fair enough. I think we may have taken a big step forward towards staying up by signing McDonald though. From what I've seen and heard he's got the pace we need and looks confident in front of goal. Let's not forget that Freddy's form had already dipped at Wolves before he signed for us. Cody may just hit the ground running.

I'd have thought working under Mad Mick at Wolves would be enough to ruin any player.
