Any one got any ideas on how they will handle this ?
Ah, the good old days of steam.managed it in 87
Use your brain. Go up line to Birmingham International or even New Street if you want a seat. Remember it's Sunday service. In 1987 there were specials laid on and you just piled on.So just stroll down to the station OH there is a BIT of a queue !!!
Track works, all trains cancelled. We apologize for any inconvenience.
The face of a man who looks like he desperately needs to sit down?I have reserved a seat (one of several).
If someone is sitting in my seat I shall politely ask them to move.
Only once had someone refuse to move (guess I have one of those faces) and that was because they were booked on an earlier train that was then cancelled.
Can't see a problem myself.
I usually just give them the old puppy dog eyes. The face of a man who looks like he desperately needs to sit down?
Are you also on all fours guiding a blind labrador around? Starting to make sense why everyone stands up for you now.I usually just give them the old puppy dog eyes.
I then normally get back 'Eeugh, yuck. Where on earth did you get them from, they're disgusting?'

Nah, that looks too organised and punctual. It's going to be chaos, i can only imagine scenes akin to this:
