As a customer of CCFC, are you happy with what is being served?

No.
Possession wise, we are ok, and I think positive possession stats are clouding actual performances. We have some tidy footballers but no forward thrust.
1st half today, we had a lot of chances, but YET AGAIN, most of those were in front of an opposition back line. (Shots from distance - even the Godden/Simms chances weren't by cutting through the Bristol side) I can't remember ANY occasion this season where we have played through the middle of a side and created a 1v1 with the keeper or a clear cut chance. Can't remember any swift counter attacks (one goal Vs QPR?), we lack quality in the final third. (As noted by my impromptu conversation with Bobby Gould earlier)
Our goals have generally come from a few set pieces, shots from distance or OGs.
I'm disappointed with what has been served up this season.

Fair enough if you’re happy with being a lower table side.
Highest ever season ticket prices, highest match day prices, highest food and beverage prices, highest parking prices, highest coach prices, can’t take fuck all in the ground. Highest investment in the 'squad'. Buzzing

No, absolute disgrace with the amount of money that has been spent. Spent the best part of 15 mill on 2 strikers who can't hit the back of the net and generally look pritty dire. I'm not sure it'll get much better once O'Hare is back either, he's hardly known for his killer balls. We're in big trouble unless we spend another load of cash.

Not sure spending a load of cash is a good idea, all things considered.

I suppose typing out whiny posts on the internet will somehow improve our play
But over optimistic ones will? Are you one of those gender fluid easily offended student vegan sausage roll types?

Yeah Robins out

We absolutely bossed a shite team today but couldn't score , shit happens
Garbage, we had majority of possession against an experimental formation until it changed after 35 minutes. We've not played 2 good halves of football all season.

Especially when he tries to flog £500 season tickets next year.
We only got ours this time because Dabo helped us get them at a big discount. Combined with us taking pay cuts and there being hardly any Saturday 3 pm kick offs next season I really doubt we’ll renew.

Yeah they are ok by me, not thrilled but we are in transition after losing the 2 players that made us tick last season, any team would suffer. The main problem is not replacing Hamer (I'm sure they tried) even with Allen adding energy we look better.

I refuse to write the strikers off, Simms especially is proven at this level. We just need to work the system out.

I know you're on a big wind up mission, but this question is best asked at the end of the season when there will have been a decent amount of time for the new players to bed in, and for a preferred starting XI to be in place. There are always ups and downs in a season - imagine the response if the question had been asked at the same point last season!

4 points off the top 6 a quarter of the way through a season that had massive squad turnover in the summer.

Can't say I'm delighted but it's OK and will get better.

There's been very few games where we've looked second best so once it all clicks I think we'll be decent.

We really should be on a lot more points with the amount we've thrown away when leading.

It's not great at present but we've had seasons in the past where it looked pretty grim and then markedly improved. My biggest worry at the moment is the two new strikers not looking like they are going to score. We've had that with McNulty and Gyokores too but currently im seeing very few signs that Wright or Simms are going to come good. None of this is a moan, just an obvious observation that the season's started badly and really needs to improve.

Are 20,000 season ticket holders happy with hearing 'we are a work in progress' at the end of every single game?

What's the point of being a football fan if that's their view? That's why we've had dogshit home support that's been a laughing stock throughout the divisions because so many expect too much.

Problems I have

- how long do we use the 'gel' excuse?
- there seems to be no improvement at all from the donkeys up top
- Robins seems ok with it? We've won 3 in 12. Thats shit, draws arent enough
- Robins sticking to the shape when its plain to see it doesnt work
- Whats the point of Kitching
- Thomas isnt good enough to start every week
- I'm just bored in general. If i had to miss a game last season i was fully wounded and disappointed. If i miss any this year im just like 'ah well' we dont have any sort of identity or excitement to us. Languid passing, slow movement, players seem a bunch of pussies etc

I'm not really sure it's about gelling. It's the fact it will take time to replace the best players in the Championship who carried us for two/three years.

We got ahead of ourselves because we spent proper money for the first time in our history when realistically the net spend is key.

Some of what you say is right. Robins out is tactically stubborn and I agree about the bottom bit. I don't have any love for any of the players. None have character or the passion, yet

Also, as someone who’s had a season ticket for coming up to 20 years now, and has watched us play in Northampton and Brum, League 2 and League 1, seeing us as an established Championship side isn’t exactly the worst thing in the world…

Yeah. If only we were playing big teams with big away followings and have a very good matchday experience!
