getting the transfer embargos through not filing the accounts is the biggest critsism that SISU are guilty of.
My opinion is that the main cause of this has been SISU deliberating over whether or not to escalate the rent issue at year end over a number of seasons.
I Honestly think there is a good chance that now the lease has been dealt with, we might never have to see delayed accounts and transfer embargoes ever again!

ACL were able to claim £590,000 (last years withheld rent, less escrow account, less dirct costs paid)
CCC were able to claim only £750 (pounds, for council tax owed)
apparrently ACL have no right to claim for future rent but the offer may include some compensation offered against liability for remainder of the lease, speculated to be one years rent.

Accounts filed give a view on the viability of the business moving forward, as well as reporting on the previous year's trading. As such, with the rent issue being such a big issue, I couldn't see the auditor signing off accounts without clarity on that isssue

I think you have been drinking too much. If you are trying to state that through all this shambles that SISU have won something then its one of the more bizarre statements ever written on here. SISU have invested money and their investment is worth considerably less as well as the asset that they bought CCFC having an uncertain future. SISU are used to distressing small private companies but local charities and councils are governed differently and I don't think they have or will beat either.

Mr Appleton's report of 13th May 2013, which is in the public domain, shows the ACL debt to be £636,381. There is no breakdown into it's various parts.

Yes, that's possible - but as noted earlier, that would imply that SISU had been actively considering administration for a few years now.

Which may of course be the case.

However, if it is the case - it makes it all the more difficult to understand their apparent unwillingness to sell at a sensible price over this period.

you think sisu have got this completely wrong? Like or hate them, they have got this absolutely right. Commercial leases are not like a lettings contract, companies stop paying the lease all the time, every day, usually to force the landlord to renegotiate and sometimes to have the landlord cancel the lease. There was no break clause in this lease so sisu were tied into the lease as part of the deal when buying the club. There may or may not at that point have been a verbal agreement where the rent would lower if the club suffered further relegation and acl may or may not have reneged on that verbal agreement -- that is the type of example that may or may not have lead to the club refusing to pay the rent. In commercial leasing the club are still the tenants of the grounds until the owners release them from the lease. The only way in which this is not the case is in a break clause or the company leasing the propoerty go into administration.


If you remember it was acl that forced administration on the club, the club did the only right thing and placed themselves into administration meaning they choose their insolvency company. If actual fact once you remove the outer layers of this situation the truth is sisu played an absolute blinder and have the council on their knees: Particularly with the 14 million pounds they are out pocket and will have to write off. I still believe we will be at the ricoh in time for the season to start. And why?? Because the council have no choice but to finally give... Last hour

I presume that the offer to play for free at the Ricoh still stands, and Otium can't legally do a deal to play at Sixfields (given that CCFC Ltd hasn't actually been sold to them).
