Must say I did find strange the distinction he was making between himself and the other director & owners.
Directors share joint and several liability for the actions undertaken by the company. Mr labovitch is listed as a director at Company house, there is no distinction made as to independent or non executive.
Cant hardly describe himself as non executive when he has sat in on creditors meetings, CVA meetings etc and puts himself forward to speak on behalf of the company on CWR
I dont know why but repeatedly the message put out by the directors etc vary between each within hours of each other. That is and always has been a weakness in the SISU strategy
SISU are or have been a highly successful organisation run by talented and astute business people who like many others of their ilk appear to leave their brains on a hatstand when they enter the room marked "Football Club Ownership"!
It is interesting that the man who was hitherto the public face of SISU, TF, appears to have been pushed back into the shadows as the "big guns" come forward. He has been the master of the grand but ultimately wildly inaccurate statement (new ground location within 8 weeks, shirt sponsor within 2 etc etc) and it may be that as SISU embark upon what appears to be a charm offensive they have realised that he has none of the former - at least as far as the fans are concerned
There must be some reason for this sudden emergence from the background of JS and ML. Personally I hope that it is something to do with NOPM / KCIC though I doubt it - although JS's apparent misunderstanding of FFP would suggest that it might. Have they possibly received negative advice about their prospects form the JR appeal?
The optimist in me (which wants SISU out asap) thinks that if they really have "...moved on..." and their "...ship has sailed..." - what is the point of all of this publicity? Why not just get on and build the new f*****g stadium? Why enter the debate? According to them we will all come back eventually anyway so why the need to perpetuate the arguments?
It is odd though, to go back to my first paragraph, how they all have difficulty singing from the same hymn sheet...
