Most sensible text was this one "there is no point anymore in this program unless SISU are made to comment on their plans for us. Your just going round in circles."
I get the impression they struggle for callers so you get the same handful of people on every week talking about the same thing. Why don't they just talk about the onfield stuff as anything off the field is guesswork
They need to drop Geoff Foster for me. Very rarely see him asking anything to anyone at CCFC that an actual fan might ask. And if that's his hands tied by the station because they don't want to rock the boat, well then they deserve their show to be dying on it's arse.
You don't need something positive to make the show good. Why not have a proper debate on the formation and going back to 4-4-2, question why we signed Reid and then play without wingers, get Dave Bennett on the blower for 10 minutes to talk about why traditional wingers would suit our strikers or Killer on the phone to discuss what makes a good centre back pairing. There's plenty of proper football conversations to be had that might make people want to listen and call in instead of just the same old whingers every week. The show is poor , because we have nothing positive to talk about .
Cleaned the thread up a bit... If this could stay half on topic please

You can call people cunts on here.what's the difference in the phone in and here then ?
BBC Liverpool have a phone in every night of the week pretty much, which is made up of much the above you mentioned. Ex players in debating the goings on etc, it works and works well. Then again were talking about 2 teams that supporters do not put up with shit and wouldn't step one foot in their grounds if SISU were in charge. You don't need something positive to make the show good. We do but there is no room around it to develop anything. At best we could buy the Connexion and extend the site about but even with that its fairly limited. Can someone answer me something. Do ccfc own the training ground? If so why are we not looking at developing in and around the training ground for the academy? I know the question is money but surely they can offset this to potential incoming from the academy, this would also keep all players/ staff in one location which will familiarise the youth teams for if/ when they make a step up towards the first team
Only land you could possibly buy would be Keller and that is likely to be far from cheap. The amount of land around the site and there is no way someone will sell it? Everything has a price, seems to me that they have accepted a no answer without persistence, if that question has ever been asked
Where would you build to extend Ryton then? North East is housing, South East is Keller and a lake, South West is Connexion and North West is Prologis.I'm working with a customer of mine who's looking at buying about 30acres of land about 500m down the road for potential redevelopment, if he can find land for development why can't ccfc?

Green belt means nothing nowadays when there housing shortage and money involvedRyton is green belt too that's why we still own it. Otherwise Oggy in Bubenhall would have to move out whilst TF measured his garden for a proposed site ...............
This has been done to death. The sites aren't big enough even if the club bought the connexion site. The amount of land around the site and there is no way someone will sell it? How Gillette and Hicks found that out too their cost, as soon as they startedBBC Liverpool have a phone in every night of the week pretty much, which is made up of much the above you mentioned. I spoke to a woman tonight (yeah, I know, there's a first for everything).I've gone from always having a season ticket and couldn't dream of not having one, too I wouldn't dream of getting one now and barely look for the scores...lucky for the club we are born into it so Ill be with it forever but still.
