Recruitment.
We've either got a bottom 4 budget or we haven't.
If we haven't, we have totally buggered up on signings in the summer.
Bloke saying about Fisher facing the music, hasn't he offered and been turned by the trust for a fans forum?
Like or not any answers he gives. Get him in front of the fans and grill him.
You keep saying this, but remember every fucking meeting with club big wigs ever? Remember how we came out with even fewer answers than we went in with?
You can't force someone to answer a question honestly.
Would you prefer 1000 dicks in your arse for an hour, or 1 dick a night in your arse for 1000 days.

It would be interesting to know ho we ended up with Armstrong, Murphy and Kent last season. They're looking like the exception, wonder how involved Mowbray and Venus were or if the parent clubs pretty much put them on a plate for us?In addition to missing the wanted signings and having to make do with what we were left to choose out of and/ or trying to hold something back in the kitty for January, the club is in disarray from top to bottom.
Of course they have to shoulder the blame.........almost all but the latest clown got the sack or walked away from a thankless task ! As someone else said though 'Those deck chairs have been re arranged and dispensed with but the ship is still going down nonetheless'....Who has the rudder ?The managers are the people who selected the players and tactics are they not? And to that end they have to shoulder some of the blame. Not all, but some.
Did they ? or did they only receive that said budget when their first choice targets were all snapped up.....because that was what was implied in managers comments. Thing is we never get to know because everyone leaves under a veil of secrecy for a few extra quid in their severance !True, we "didn't want it", but the vast majority of those players shouldn't be in our first eleven. If TM/MV had done their homework properly in the summer then I doubt we would be in such a shitty position. They had the budget and they pissed it away in a panic.
I do agree with you to a point but we don't know enough about the process or the timing of the release of funds. We were still putting the team together AGAIN two months into the season.Yes, recruitment as I've said on a hundred posts, but Ashdown seems to disagree. Nothing to do with recruitment for him.

Well you are easily pleased...Mark Robins................FFSThere isn't a huge amount of point in getting any executive into a meeting and firing questions - as The Rock would say, it doesn't matter what comes out of their mouths because the only way to judge success or not is by looking at what's going on. Tim or anyone else can hint at plans and stress their good intentions and share frustrations over things that they wanted to go differently, I'll give then the benefit of the doubt on all of that but this is a results business and it has to come right on the pitch (and off it, in our case) for us all to be reassured.
I can't think of anything that he could say at a forum or on CWR that would reassure me, but if he goes out and appoints Mark Robins then we go 5 games unbeaten then I'll be reassured. Seeing is believing, everything else is just well-meaning words.

We wouldnt be able to see the game out!Agree, show passion or get dragged off after 5 minutes.
We have a limit on subs...& squad sizeAgree, show passion or get dragged off after 5 minutes.
I agree...the level of investment isn't bad at this level. Where it is invested is an issue though. Loan players are a bad investment en-mass as we have been doing because 1. They are short term in the grand scheme of things 2. Are only fully committed up until they have security of a promised future contract/loan elsewhere in the next window...then they avoid injury so are less committed so competition for places is reduced 3. There is little chance for team cohesion to developIt is not the level of investment, it is the lack of leadership and ambition. The lack of a plan or company structure. When they have had talent they have sold at the first opportunity. It has been crisis management by the owners. SISU have only achieved failure after failure....and that is just in the boardroom before you start looking at all the other area.
Thing is who releases the funds who actually has the final say.Which is totally down to TM and MV. Every other team seemed to get players in.
And yet nearing the end of August some people on the forum were wetting themselves with excitement at the prospect of hatfuls of goals from the likes of SordellRecruitment.

Where do you get your figures on the budget from? What's all this "given the lack of funds" bullshit about?
It just shows if people say anything enough times it starts to stick. We have a top half budget (minimum) and there is still some of that left to spend in January. Especially when we bin off all of the loans and the fact we should have rickets salary on top.
I think it would be a very appealing place to come and be a manager. A decent youth setup, a relatively sizable fan Base as soon as they get their shit together on the pitch, and you can play stupid formations over and over again your best striker on the wing, Jones in CM and Tudgay as a number 10, and STILL most of the raving lunatic fans won't think you've done anything wrong cause they're too busy pointing their pitchforks at SISU the antichrist.
Was it Tim Fisher calling in from Ladbrookes?Just prior kick off someone texted in to say we would lose 4-0
If he does go (or go back 'upstairs') - who's in charge on Wednesday?
First one, because at least then I would make it into the Guinness Book of World Records.Would you prefer 1000 dicks in your arse for an hour, or 1 dick a night in your arse for 1000 days.
They were indeed. And yet nearing the end of August some people on the forum were wetting themselves with excitement at the prospect of hatfuls of goals from the likes of Sordell
We reached a point at the end of the summer where the needs of the squad were far greater than the budget squandered, if there is real ambition beyond L1 survival
...onwards & upwards PUSB
Thing is who releases the funds who actually has the final say.
At a lot of clubs the manager does the business but the board have the final say before paying out.
There does not seem to be one aspect that is right, I do not see how there would be a major change with a new Manager and who would take it on anyway? Well apart from somebody desperate for a wage. Knowing it would be temporary and they would need to be looking elsewhere.
.
Will have to start calling you Otis by the time you're done.First one, because at least then I would make it into the Guinness Book of World Records.
Sam Ricketts? Seems to have the respect of the players at leastIf he does go (or go back 'upstairs') - who's in charge on Wednesday?
Or is it a case of, "I don't intend to be manager but I'll stay in charge while we appoint on in the next week or so"
