Problem as i see it that SISU have is that they can put a deal to the administrator but they still need somewhere to play ............. chances of a SISU backed deal being agreed with ACL to be put to the administrator for approval and recommendation anyone ? Unlikely the League will sanction a permanent move away and it will cost a sizeable bond to be paid even on a temporary basis

That means the administrator can only recommend a different deal from a n other party, that if SISU as largest creditor reject or wont compromise means liquidation

Got to hope they see something as better than nothing............ but one way or another SISU's future is away from Coventry

In short then, is liquidation a possible outcome, despite ACL's statement that their action in forcing administration will prevent liquidation and protect the football club?

if no one comes in to take the club on yes .......... but i am guessing part of ACL's confidence in taking the action is that they know there are people interested

The more I look at it, the more I'm thinking that there's no way that SISU is going to take the big financial hit and just walk away, leaving the path clear for someone else to come in and take the whole shooting match over for a knockdown price from the administrator. I reckon their attitude is more likely to be on the lines of ' If we're going down, we're going to make sure we'll be taking others with us'.

Although I also believe that they're still playing 'who's going to blink first'.
Sadly I think you maybe right.
