Skysports.com understands a number of clubs are eyeing moves for former Portsmouth striker Danny Webber.
Webber is available on a free transfer after seeing out his contract at Fratton Park.
The former Manchester United
man is back to full fitness almost a year after suffering a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in March 2010.
Webber featured for Portsmouth at the back end of last season, making eight appearances in the side.
News of Webber's availability on a free transfer has alerted a number of Championship clubs who are looking to bolster their attacking options this summer.
This wouldn't be to shabby a move and as Freebies go he is better than most. I look at the fact we need a bit of experiance to help juke, who in everyones opinion will have a great year. He still needs to learn, he picked up a lot from playing alongside MK and IMO needs that guiding influence for the next year at least.
