Any thoughts?
Sure they do want to return and it is a priority and something they are working on. However I still can't see past the issue of indemnity. Even if anyone actually believes there will be a new ground you could easily be looking at 5-10 years from the point at which the planning application is made.Ended with this nugget

I dont think even co-ownership is on offer to be honest. Wasps seem happy to try and starve SISU out by distressing the club and i struggle to see what will change unless the EC complaint is dealt with in some way.Wasps need to figure out the indemnity
SISU need to sign a no further legals promise
A revenue agreement needs to happen.
Long term, we need our own stadium. Fuck co-ownership with a rugby team.

Sorry, I dont normally correct grammar. Especially being so bad at it myself. I just couldn't idly stand by while somebody bad mouthed uncle timmy.I know that. A decent parody wouldn’t go without their grammatical errors though.
It remains my top priority to win the lottery, and I continue to work hard behind the scenes to achieve this.
Its just words, means nothing.
Its either get Wasps to drop the indemnity thing & negotiate back in with them, or build a new ground. Both highly difficult.
Actually I've only ever bought one lottery ticket, and I won a tenner. So a poor metaphor from a personal point of view, but true in that all these words & reassurances mean nothing.Just words? You're not buying cartloads of lottery tickets then?

He wasn’t alone. Clive and Stuart thought we’d sell no more than the league games. I also think he’s very good at continually acknowledging the support who attend and those that don’t. I’m pretty certain ccfc could have sold 15000 for the cup gameActually I've only ever bought one lottery ticket, and I won a tenner. I'm not having a go at Boddy- apart from not really understanding the club he works for (didn't think there would be demand for Birmingham etc) he's one of the better recent ones we've had... although is that saying much.. at least he doesn't try and go in the dugout for games I guess.
Easily. I didn't realise the other two said the same thing- totally finger off the pulse. He wasn’t alone. Clive and Stuart thought we’d sell no more than the league games. It'll be longer than that for a ground if they never think to start it.Sure they do want to return and it is a priority and something they are working on. That means the reality in the short to mid term is the Ricoh is the only option. And we know the indemnity is the problem there so get that resolved and then go from there.
Chinese guys putting up a 1000 bed hospital in 4 weeks come on!! LolIt'll be longer than that for a ground if they never think to start it.

Lol how on earth do you make that out of what he’s said there!! Bloody hellI don’t want to read too much into it but I reckon Boddy is saying it remains as the top priority of the Club to return to Coventry at the earliest possible opportunity and they continue to work hard behind the scenes to achieve this.
I don't think the Chinese public have any say in matters which would require planning permission here.Chinese guys putting up a 1000 bed hospital in 4 weeks come on!! Lol
If only we'd get to planning permission stage!I don't think the Chinese public have any say in matters which would require planning permission here.
In fact I doubt there's a process
It's a lot easier to get things done in a dictatorship.
CCC will make sure that we dont have a new stadium as they dont want to be left with the White Elephant (RICOH) when the Insects fly off to another nest to infect.Im not sure what else he could say really, it's effectively saying there's no news and they'll update us when they can. It's very frustrating but ultimately we are barred from the Ricoh due to impossible demands being made and we are barred from building a new stadium because that's never going to happen under the current owners (and quite possibly under any new owners too).
Unless CCC offered to pay for it i wouldn't expect SISU to build one anyway, i can see us stuck in this hedgefund pissing contest for some time yet. Bunch of bastards.CCC will make sure that we dont have a new stadium as they dont want to be left with the White Elephant (RICOH) when the Insects fly off to another nest to infect.
