The two wing backs haven’t been excellent and one was signed without any input from Austin anyway
I doubt he’d have chose simms either or Joel as these are known players
Really like JDSthey have been a big improvement on our last 2 WB
If he gets 7/8 goals from here he’d have done well - his career is all or nothingExactly what I said, least I’m honest
Having thought about it .. it's a little bit mental to be throwing his recruitment under the bus until the season is over or looks to be over ..
Imagine the amount of posts on here and in other threads that will be pulled up if we end up having a stormer of a season because we stopped conceding late
With some luck we'd be sat top 6 ? Late goals against Hull, Huddersfield, Leicester etc whilst only being in 2nd gear
I hope he’s like a sheaf where it all just clicks second season maybeIf he gets 7/8 goals from here he’d have done well - his career is all or nothing

They have in reality created very little yet have they?
Last seasonSome of us have been having these arguments with the doom mongers every year, and every year their bedwetting has been proven wrong.
However, I feel this season might be one of disappointment and I've not got many positives to push back on the with other than Robins and Adi always find a way and we do tend to swing from can't buy a win to top of the form table and back again quite frequently!
.
Be great for all our well being if we could pick up points at a steadier rate.
when scouting sakamoto originally we signed him cos he impressed in a game when we were watching another player
give them a chance eh???
Although maybe signing Ndlovu when he played well in a game against us(?) would be a better example(!)It's not unusual for that to happen, it's how we got Michael Rose.
What about PalmerIm saying they haven’t been brilliant - given the slime thrown around regarding other players it’s a pretty mild comment
What about Palmer
Crazy. This post is far too balanced. So we're giving up on the new signings then?
Da Silva and Van Ewijk have been excellent.
Bobby Thomas & Hadji Wright were being raved about after the first 3-4 games. They have hit bad form, that's it.
Sakamoto has looked good, as has Lats.
Simms is starting to pick up.
Kitching and Collins haven't played

Van Ewijk has scored as many goals in 6 appearances as Bidwell has in 64. Bidwell's was a freak goal too. They have in reality created very little yet have they?
As you keep saying yet you consistently defended Kane and Waghorn.Palmer was a terrible signing

Dasilva has created chances and got at least ond assist but Godden apart we haven't been clinical up front.

Still waiting to hear why it's unfair to criticise Ayari as a young loan yet was fine for Norton-Cuffy and Wilson-Esbrand.
Van Ewijk has scored one goal in 4 starts which if repeated across a whole season would be a phenomenal strike rate for a wing back. Certainly better than Bidwell's one in 64 appearances. They have created very little - thanks for confirming - a goal from a free kick (which is nothing to do with being a wing back) and one assist
Ayari is a 19 year old full international who has played in the Premier League. Norton-Cuffy was 18 I believe. Wilson-Esbrand had had less experience than Ayari has had prior to joining us.Cuffey was a championship regular before signing Esbrand was a pointless signing as he wasn’t ever hardky used
4 starts is hardly a significant sample size.
David Nugent has a 100% scoring record for England but there isn't likely to be a statue outside Wembley for him any time soon.
Bidwell might not carry the attacking threat of Dasilva - although on last seasons stats alone that could be argued - but at least he can defend.

I'm here for the conspiracy that he's not feeling the love and wanted out so has kind of downed tools a little bit.Can he though? I’d have agreed over the summer, he’s not shown it in his cameos so far though.
At the minute we seem weaker everywhere on the pitch compared to last season.
So, early days, but I wouldn't call any of the new signings 'Excellent'. Even 'Good' is probably slightly pushing it too far.
Ayari has shown some nice touches in previous games but he looked completely lost vs Huddersfield.

I remain to be convinced. Ok but not really improved us at the back or front noticeably. Tbf probably the best of the bunchThat's not true is it, wing back position is alot better than last season, obviously with Milan on the right side

I think Fadz has deteriorated and we’ve lost end of season Callum Doyle. But I’d argue this time last season we didn’t have end of season Callum Doyle, we had what appeared to be Bambi on ice. I think Binks has started stronger than Panzo or Doyle did. Latibeaudiere I’ve been impressed with, and think he’s more consistent than McNally at least. Hopefully Kitching can come in for Fadz for a complete upgrade.
We really needed to buy a couple of CMs and a serious GK, that’s where we’re lacking IMO.
He was good in the first few games but hasn't quite looked at it since WatfordThe only thing I'd add is that Fadz didn't start last season too well, but at his age the drop off will be permanent sooner or later.
Can he indeedHe can rebuild us.
He has the technology. He can make us better than before. Better......stronger.....faster.He can rebuild us.
