I wouldn't call it picking on someone. I'd call it being found out for posting shit, which will get people biting. Similar to in real life.

I wouldn't say that asking someone to provide a source is picking on someone. If no source, then it's just a rumour. Now that a source has been provided it gives the post a little more credibility. Although the post says that deegan signed yesterday, which he didn't.
