Wouldn’t be surprised to see Dempsey next and then Williams. Gives space for Lampard to bring some more staff in.

I did ask in a previous post who was coaching the U21 & U18 teams at the moment but I got no feedback, I suppose if Dempsey and Delaney go back to their old roles then whoever was in their old jobs might be leaving.

Delaney was/is supposed to be a very highly rated coach. It makes sense to keep him and I'm glad we have.

When Carr was interim it was Delaney he kept talking to on the bench whilst Boateng sat down with his hood up. It was obvious he was leaving

Williams gets a deranged amount of criticism. Especially considering he’s responsible for overseeing maybe the single largest improvement in a keeper I’ve ever seen in our squad.

I dunno about improvement. He's just always been a great number 2 keeper I think

But I ain't got no issue with Williams
Wilson was completely unplayable (in a bad way) when he first joined. I’m no huge fan of his today, but the fact he became a serviceable Championship keeper from that starting point can only really be down to the coaches.

It’s one of the things that worries me at the moment. Can’t think of a home grown player seriously pushing for a starting place since Eccles. Andrews and Dausch thereabouts but it’s a real dearth of talent at the moment.

Seems to be on Doug’s mind as well based on his talksport percentage comment.

Hoping to see a few more get minutes Kai Yearn, Andrew’s and Dausch could all benefit.

In the lower leagues there to easier to get players through at this level and above you are lucky to get one.

It's funny how times have changed. When I first started going to HR when we were in the top league there was an endless stream of homegrown players making it into the first team, and we could probably have had an entire XI made from them. Sealey, Thomas, Roberts, Blair, Dyson, Butterworth, Bodak, Bannister Thompson, Hateley, Whitton.

I've often thought exactly the same,I think the old Central league (reserve team) was a brilliant set up for trying young players in men's football with older players helping them along.
