Are you all on acid he isn't even an experianced manager. He did ok at leeds with gus poyet supporting him but as soon as gus fucked off it all went downhill. We all know how shit he was at newcastle and also wasted millions on shit players.

He has managed 205 games as
a manager with a decent win ratio winning 92 of them plus he got Millwall into an F.A cup final!

Yes he was,but the other 2 have actually managed to a good and successful standard!!

and i would have liked him to stay in a scouting capacity.

Then bring big John Fashanu as a striker coach, Robbie Earle as a midfield coach and Vinnie Jones as chief 'Arse kicker'.

We would never surrender a lead to Bury F.C. with that lot..

I think I'd rather just remember him as a player rather than get him in for a season, see him get the inevitable sack and it end in bitterness.

Wise GET HIM IN! Sorry for the shouting but I can't see a better candidate out there. A fan of forty years I would buy a season ticket to watch a City side managed by Wise. No brainier.
