We’ve gone 4 games unbeaten - we’ve conceded less than a goal a game in those games - the whinging is hilarious considered I’m supposed to be negative
He says "at the level" so knows about footballWhat a load of nonsense
Hard to agree with that first paragraph as he's taken us up twice in 3 yearsRobins just doesn't seem to know how to set up to take the game to a team from the off. He can build a club, is a good man manager and has a great team spirit but on the pitch he's paint by numbers. He was the same vs Morecambe in L2 as we are now in the Championship - he's got no sliding scale or adjustment for who we're playing or how we're playing. Very frustrating.
We should have been more ambitious at Norwich when they showed how bad they were during the first half and today has been horrific despite the late goal. Jobello is the guy you bring on when you're 3-0 up for some minutes after his injury not to change the game in your favour and it was crying out for 2 strikers. Needed minimum 9 points from the 6 games including tonight. 8 from 15 now.
O’Hare shouldn’t be starting eitherHave we played sheaf, hamer, Kelly, ohare (starting) yet?
It does kill the best parts, but it also kills the worst parts. Takes time to work out the best approach. Don’t think tonight was it, but we didn’t lose and can push on. Derby under Rooney are more direct and take fewer chances. As much as we think Spooney is a tool, he has stopped the rot and they aren’t as easy to beat as they were. That is his entire intention at present. Wasn’t just poor selection / strategy, Derby were hard to break down and direct in approach. Take the point. Our Barnsley supporting friend was right then, I get that it’s solid defensively but I’ve seen us play this system 3 times and it completely kills the best parts of our game, no shocks we scored when we went to 3 at the back and overloaded the wide areas. Good point in the end onto Saturday.
Yeah well worked, Ostigard did well as welldabo kept and played an intelligent ball in the play to the goal
Barnsley won, he was going to be regardless.
Bet he has the most single goal victories of any manager who has ever been promoted.Hard to agree with that first paragraph as he's taken us up twice in 3 years
No in the grand scheme of things it was a better result for us.Not a bad result for us really. Blues struggling and just two ahead of us
odd you keep saying this every game but they don’t
Bet he has the most single goal victories of any manager who has ever been promoted.
It’s that melt Brighton Sky Blue, never seen a more nauseating titWe’ve gone 4 games unbeaten - we’ve conceded less than a goal a game in those games - the whinging is hilarious considered I’m supposed to be negative
Obvious. Completely obvious.
Can’t believe we have to concede to start playing in games. The most frustrating thing is it works, we look a threat, score a goal then go back to offering nothing again at the start of the next game.
The performance tonight was absolutely abysmal and I for one won't be forgetting it just because of one big moment from Hamer.
There are a handful of players that are not good enough for this level and it is going to cost us. Robins has done well to tighten things up, but his second half inaction should have cost us. We got lucky.
It’s like he doesn’t understand the context of games. It’s just: away point = good. No Mark, an away point against top of the league is good. An away point against a team who are terrible when you nearly chucked it away and didn’t bother to attack is bad.Robins just doesn't seem to know how to set up to take the game to a team from the off. He can build a club, is a good man manager and has a great team spirit but on the pitch he's paint by numbers. Your joking right?Rather Jamie Allen starting ahead of Shipley Saturday
O’Hare is better off the bench the same as last year
He needs to, he makes things happen.O’Hare shouldn’t be starting either
It’s that melt Brighton Sky Blue, never seen a more nauseating tit
Just a fact if you change formation. Like it or not Barnsley dude was spot on. Ten men behind the ball against the worst team in the league. As soon as we were forced to go to a formation our players knew we got forward and threatened them.
Robins needs to listen to himself and get some belief. We are better than we just played.
I think having these two back in is what’s made us more solid, not some dogshit formation that gives us nothing. With Kelly and Dabo back in, the team looks more solid as well so reckon the team can handle two up top better than we did earlier in the season
You clearly didn’t just see Jordan ShipleyYour joking right?
Theres no fucking way I'd play Allen ahead of anyone.
