That was awful. Effort and desire should be a given. Think max the only one who gave it all. Why??? Make no mistake Accrington Stanley did the basics very very well, compared to them we were a team devoid of how to do the basics. They looked like footballers and we looked a team of misfits. Robins needs to be asked what the pattern of play is and given that pattern how do we build enough pressure to get shots on target and score goals.

We didn’t do the basics, we didn’t show passion and commitment and we didn’t show any sign of getting at them time let alone get shots and then work up some pressure

We could have played for the next week and not scored. That was nowhere near good enough or acceptable, it looked like we hadn't played together before.

McNulty and Bayliss still suffering with the virus. Would make sense. Bayliss looked way off the pace.

There is no pattern of play apart from put it in the air and hope McNulty or Biamou put the defenders off.

Ironic as Max''s ineptitude to score a goal is a massive part of the reason we are so impotent and unable to kill off teams.

The ball is humped in the general direction of 'upfront' McNulty still not reading any flick on Max may or may not win, then the midfield are that far off the strikers its an easy header to come straight back at us

Did you watch the same game today?

How many goals has he scored this season Nick?

The stats of goals scored being so low is a massive problem. Robins needs to be brave and drop him. He might contribute well generally but his Input as a striker is atrocious.

The kick off after their first goal summed us up today. Brought My Dad, My brother, My nephew and the woman and several mates. Was really hoping to get my nephew into it today, Gave him one of my old scarves and shirts and we just didn't turn up. I fear for many that turned up today the price will have been irrelevant they'll just be pissed off they've wasted a Saturday afternoon. However if I know city half as well as I think i do after we inevitably lose 1-0 to Colchester, We'll probably beat Brighton 3-0.

My mrs won’t go again after today. Im so angry that I can’t get her passionate about the club as every time she goes it’s like today. Every fucking time.

After watching Italy in the rugby on the tv last weekend, mine is keen to go to a cov game. She probably wouldn't talk to me again

Spurs had to create 3 arguably 4 clear cut chances for Harry Kane today in order for him to convert 1.
How many did we create for Biamou yet we expect him to get on the score sheet.

When I was doing my FA coaching badge the statistic given to me was that on average 1 goal resulted from 8 chances. We barely create 8 chances in a game.

Everyone points to the strikers not scoring, which is after all their main purpose, but they are not the only players that could score. But even then as a team we don't create enough chances or opportunities in the first place.

I didn't ask about stats, I asked what game you watched?

Did I miss all the missed chances and only see aimless hoofs forward?

I think if we gave biamou twenty chances a game he wouldn’t convert any of them....

Bang on. We have no idea if the strikers are good enough as we don’t use them or support them

Is Chris stokes the worst full back in league football? Oh no that's Dion Kelly evans
That was the worst performance I have seen from Kelly-Evans. However, he was just back from injury, not properly fit and so harsh to judge him as a footballer in that way. Stokes gives his all every match but I think lacks quality when over lapping.

I thought Stokes was OK defensively today.
DKE was a liability but you have to ask questions of Robins. They created chance after chance down our left. 3 identikit chances to the first goal and they should have scored at least one more form it.

I can take a lack of ability (we are in League 2) but the fans won’t take players who don’t want to try or just want to breeze through games

Kelly was poor today but he never shied anyway receiving the ball, a few of our players today did not want the ball or would play a pass which wasn’t on

I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the last we see of DKE. In fairness i actually thought he got a little better as the game progressed. He clearly works hard but if you’re that size you’ve either got to possess amazing speed/skill or have the thighs like Roberto Carlos.

God knows how he made a pro jelly Evans is awful
A conversation took place in the casino regarding the Evans twins and the feeling was that rank bad recruitment going back 3/4 years is still haunting us. There is no way that these two boys with respect are good enough for pro football.

Based on him well simply being.... how can I say it.....

.... he’s shit?

I wouldn’t say he’s shit just a limited footballer. We are in League 2, bar one or two most of the players aren’t very good and have limitations. I said in another thread if our best player on the pitch is Biamou then we’re not going to win many games
