They’ve got a deal on for all Trust members. 4 bottles for the price of 3. Opened for the first time on a match day on Saturday.

Kev Monks was there yesterday I believe, described it on Facebook as a "pretty decent pre-match venue"

Guys I've been in here a couple of times now and I'll recommend it to anyone that likes a good real ale. It's the closest bar to the ground with great beer and banter with away fans that know it through camra. Popcorn, nachos and nuts out and good music on. For a pre match venue your be hard pushed to beat it.
"Nachos and nuts out"? Sounds like a fun place to be!

What sort of music? Sounds decent though, nice to have an alternative to the casino for a pre game drink.

Dunno I think there was 25 odd away fans could probably hold 75-100. Got a seating area in the warehouse but and a reasonably sized bar.

Might try it one night. Some of them look a bit too "aley" for me but worth a dabble.

Not too sure about the "bantering" with away fans though, that's a bit too chuffed.

See my post where I say "if you like real ale"

I do like some ;)

Would try most of them, have tried a Chocolate Ale before but wasn't the nicest. Would be ok as half pint maybe but drinking a half and bantering with away fans over some nachos is a long way from JB's ;)

JBs is shut down. Freehold is up for sale at the moment. Could be a good buy at the right price.

RIP.

I'm more used to places like that, sad I know.

Whoever buys it, just need to leave a key for the regulars to let themselves in and will make a killing.

Went yesterday.

Cracking place, a pleasant change.

Sampled a few fine ales. Dhillon a nice fella.

4 minute walk to The Ricoh ....wish I stayed where I was.
Says 3 mins on their website. Are you having a bit of a wobble on the way?

I checked the website and it said it was closed yesterday. I should have gone up on the off chance.

His name is Dalvinder Singh Dhillon it seems so I'd guess he is of Asian descent.
