Just taking a moment and looking at the background of the images we see on the city unseens video (also something i look forward to more and more in the week)

you can see the effort thats going on behind the scenes, things wed only dream of and now take for granted, a huge thank you to DK and to the frasers too for letting it happen.

look at bobby in the prematch, white/skyblue tiles in the bathroom area, club crests everywhere, sky blue everywhere, theres no sign of any other club other than ours. i know its simple but the hurt i felt when seeing our players walking out with wasps logos behind them, rugby players faces in shot behind them, the lines painted green on the pitch is something ill never forget and never take for granted.

Its the best now its ever been in terms of branding, even before Wasps.

Frasers seem quite happy for it to appear as our ground, allowing safe standing etc. Wasps or the Council would've never allowed that.

Still more to do though. I want to see our name on that white panelling above the boxes, HR style

If ever I'm feeling down I just remember Wasps are dead and have a big old smile about it.

What actually happened with them in the end? I remember them on about moving to Oxford, and then Kent. Did all of that fall through?

I believe as things stand the corpse isn't even twitching. For the sake of anyone unfortunate enough to get involved with those rotten bugs, let's hope it stays that way.

I feel sorry for some of their fans

I want the outside of the ground repainted to cover the shadows of their badges

I imagine that to be tricky. That panelling was originally too dark. Time has turned it Sky Blue. If they paint it now they need to make sure they get the right colour

I love how mother nature has turned it Sky Blue tbh. Even the laws of physics knows its our ground really
Maybe that was the plan? All these things fade eventually.

i wouldnt be surprised if in the summer we see more stadium changes/upgrades. a nice lick of paint would be nice, i do wonder if youd need some sort of planning agreement form the council to turn the whole stadium blue.

is ricoh still on the roof?

Edit, since confirmed this image on google maps pictures of area is a photoshop job. The actual roof still has marks showing where RIOCH has been removed. I guess nobody thought ahead to the day when their sponsorship would cease. 🤔

Would be interesting to know what would be expenditure would be required if we were to get promoted.

I watched a video on the Ipswich YouTube channel a few weeks before the season and couldn't believe what was required. They spent huge sums of money.

The outline of Ricoh is. You can see it from Corley, a great view of the ground from there

New floodlights, permanent TV studio, more work on the segregation

its definitely not like that. walking up at the weekend noticed how shabby the roof looked with the outline of Ricoh still up there. Place needs a real good clean. The whole exterior is shabby. Landscaping and paths need a bit of work as well.

Sure it must be lined up. Would be odd to spend money doing the ground up but then leave people with a poor first impression.

Wasps left a massive list of work needing to be done. (shocking how quickly a stadium can fall behind)

They obviously have to prioritise stuff that is a legal requirement.

IMO they have been good stadium owners so far. You're right though, the whole area needs smartening up. The steps up from the A444 look like an Alan Titchmarsh rockery

There was a report included in the administration stuff that detailed all the manintenace and it was all costed. Came to tens of millions.

Even essential stuff like fire alarms and CCTV weren't working properly. You can bet if it had been us and not Wasps running it down like the the SAG would have been quick to pull the license.

Can’t find the full report but had this saved on my camera roll.
