Ironically, lots of the most fervent oil supporters would hate the idea that it basically pays for an Islamic theocracyFucking crude oil prices up 5% cos a senile man said something.
But yes serious people it’s renewables that are expensive.
Can we please stop linking our economic capacity to a bunch of backwards arseholes in the desert please?
And the fact is our ( the west's) medaling has produced this scenario IMO!Ironically, lots of the most fervent oil supporters would hate the idea that it basically pays for an Islamic theocracy
If it's asked for and received a terminal diagnosis and saves suffering I'm with you, not forgetting we're all probably going to end with some form of disease, and then the Human condition is to survive, so no mandatory implementation either,no way on that ever, just the bravest one's who make the decision. It's good to see "assisted dying" is back on the Parliamentary agenda. It's obviously a very hard and emotive subject, but we need to seriously think about this.
Of course, safeguarding measures need to be carefully assessed and introduced, but also a serious discussion needs to be had on the subject.
I personally think we should have assisted dying, with incredibly strict safeguarding measures in place, but appreciate wider views, as it is difficult and discussion should be free and open.
Having the done the same and forgetting to cancel in 2018,2019,2020,2021 and 2022She accidentally sent him her notes for the interview so decided to cancel.
If you still think this is about corruption I’ve got a bridge to sell you.

For clarity this is a story about Rayner paying for her own holiday and whilst on holiday being invited to DJ and declaring the value of that invite. No doubt MalcSB and Nick will be along to tell us how it’s absolutely disgraceful that MPs are allowed near decks or something.
I would like to see us concentrate more on quality or life rather than quantity quite so much, but I guess it's easier to work out how to keep a person alive, much harder to keep them well in older age. It's good to see "assisted dying" is back on the Parliamentary agenda. Ah Shucks, come on telling us she's been sniffing Powder next?Angela's not gonna shag you m8.
I think anyone who has, or had, a relative with dementia would be very much on the side of this needing to happen. It's good to see "assisted dying" is back on the Parliamentary agenda. It's obviously a very hard and emotive subject, but we need to seriously think about this.
how the fuck have the come up with £836 as a value for being invited to DJ?For clarity this is a story about Rayner paying for her own holiday and whilst on holiday being invited to DJ and declaring the value of that invite. Would love to see a similar study done but for turning off ‘socials’ entirely. I’d like to think it would generally improve the quality of our political discourse and mend a few divides.Interesting.

The government will be taking a fair chunk. I thought you didn’t believe in accumulated wealth.Friend of my GFs family in the Netherlands just did it (assisted dying). They had a sending off party. All seemed quite nice tbh. I certainly want to go before dementia or similar gets me. It’s my biggest fear and would suck down any inheritance I build up for the kids.
The fact Starmer is paying back some of his gifts is a bit like going back to a shop and paying for what you shoplifted a month ago - a tacit admission that you have done wrong and are trying to put it right. The crime of shoplifting has still been committed though. For clarity, it wasn't exactly an invitation, it was paid for. In essence, it seems the DJ charges for the "invitation" to be on the decks with him. As such, like it or not, it's a paid for gift - the DJ was paid by his agency for her to be "invited".
Now you're either in favour of politicians getting gifts and freebies, or you're not.
You can't really complain about the other side making hay out of this when, Starmer et al were making such a big deal about cleaning up politics.
As far as I'm concerned, any story that makes any politician from any side think twice about what they should and shouldn't accept, is a good thing.
I couldn't care less that this hurts Starmer and Labour, maybe now he'll take actions that back up his words.

There are lies, damned lies and statistics.Who needs facts?
Do two wrongs make a right? The fact is if he’d done what every Tory MP does and just not declare and not apologise you’d have no issues.

Part of the issue here are the pledges made before the election to clean up this sort of stuff. More Labour lies as they carefully carried the Ming vase.
Surely the answer is - just don’t take it in the first place. I’d that’s where we get to then the ire will have been worth it,It’s not two wrongs. It’s a wrong and a right and a moving of the goalposts.
Starmer looks bad because he declares things others don’t. This will just lead to fewer MPs declaring because it’s more trouble than it’s worth. Which is probably the point of the attacks other than the obvious political reasons.
The last three months have been nothing but Tories acting shocked that Labour is either doing stuff they did or that they forced them into. We’ve been calling this set up for years and yet still when it happened everyone fell for it.
My Twitter feed is full of righties outraged about the Chagos Islands, including the bloke who did the negotiations to give it away! (Cleverly). It’s just all so disingenuous and designed to erode trust in politics. He declares it: bad. He doesn’t: bad. He pays it back: bad. It’s just pathetic at this point.
There are lies, damned lies and statistics.
The stats can still be worked out later
I hope those “based” in London have had their weighting allowance stopped,
