Brandon Lewis today on sky.

Trevor Phillips told him about his personal situation where his daughter died and people couldn't be there for her funeral , 6 days after Hancock broke covid rules ... their rules it should be added .
Lewis then says that he too has had friends pass so he understands ...(clearly he doesn't understand as losing a friend is not the same as losing your daughter ) he also failed to offer condolences to Phillips.

He then goes on to explain that Hancock resigned because he was thinking about his family , this being the very family that he wasn't thinking about whilst tongue punching the fart box of his assistant .

What a shameless bunch of cunts, that interview has annoyed me tbh

The gas lighting is now endemic.
Nothing to see here. We are delivering on the priorities of the British people, Brexit, Vaccines, world beating yada yada, jibber jabber. Labour would be worse. Look over there - dinghies, illegals, woke, statues being attacked.
So depressing.

Add to this their increasing control of the BBC and Chanel 4 so we don't even get the alternative perspective

Also the same family he immediately abandoned on being told the Sun were publishing the pictures.

Like you say, no words to express the anger.

The only ones left are complete weasels like him, any with half a brain left or were kicked out long ago. It should be a national shame that they are at the helm.

Name a single minister who is even vaguely competent at their post

Sunak is competent - it’s also a matter of conjecture - I’d say two were incompetent and one of those has gone

they're absolutely useless and also held less to account than they've ever been because the PM is a cretin, it's a dangerous combination.

The last batch under May contained some who were at least trying to do the job seriously even if I disagreed with their ideology. David Cameron couldn't be accused of half arsing it, the current lazy oaf clearly is all about the title and not the day job.

I hope for your sake the other one you class as incompetent is Williamson

It’s hardly for my sake but for the record yes it is. Then again it’s never been a popular ministerial position. He’s a poor strategist and communicator

Well after what he did at the MoD it's astonishing he's still an MP never mind a senior Cabinet minister.

Is that a joke? Cameron was the laziest worst PM I’ve ever known

you're too clever to believe that. They're a shower of useless twats.

I think your two pints ended up a lot more - he’s the competition - seriously

great to see old Blair’s flat mate still lurking. Would had it Starmer has asked him to provide legal advice to labours new convert (well other than Tony the only convert) John Bercow in ways to suppress bullying claims against him

If you're classing Cameron as lazier and worse than Boris then I think we can end the conversation there, it's clear Cameron was at least willing to put the hours in and look the part.

Not that I wanted either anywhere near No. 10

pointing out labours failings doesn't mean the tory front bench is competent.
Every single fuck up they've made you'd be all over if it had happened on Labours watch and you know it.
They're absolutely fucking useless.

I don't know. Williamson is a very special case
They’re all just the worst people you could ever put in those positions. Rabb and Patel also equally as bad, Gove is just a poor excuse for a human being, Grant Shapps, Grant fucking Shapps. They’re all just so awful. If you were trying to organise them in most useless order you’d have to forget it and resort to alphabetical order.

Im not sure what look the part means - you’d never have voted for foot Kinnock or Corbyn then

Cameron had more holidays worked less hours then anyone including Johnson - google lazy Cameron and look at the links

When on the job it was clear he would actually do his homework, attempt to make an informed opinion and generally give a vague impression of seriousness. We all know Johnson simply follows the advice of the last person in the room, a lot like the even bigger idiot of a counterpart he had in the White House.

Johnson is as far from a statesman as possible, though quite apt given that he looks like being the last PM of the UK as we know it.

People who’ve encountered Cameron have a very different view. He’s far worse as PM than Johnson

Go further down the list there's still Truss, Lewis, Jenrick, Dowden and co. It should be an embarrassment but clearly those of us who think so are in the minority
