Damn the BBC and their woke lefty agenda!!
Oh.
What is that? Anything from QAnon is seriously nutsThis QAnon JFK thing is nuts even by usual QAnon standard. Its easy to laugh but its a bit worrying that so many people have turned up.

We’re run by grifters and cranks…. No wonder Grendel is so happy.
I’m sure Captain Whataboutery will be here soon enough to enrich us with his thoughts.yeah but Jack Straw said something racist in 2004 so Labour are the real baddies here
Tinpot banana republic
Exactly the words that crossed my mind when I was listening to a news report on it.
Though trying to hide behind the tragic death of your wife when you've been caught with your fingers in the till is a new low even for the tories.
It's not even a shock is it?

My understanding is that his wife committed suicide because of the pressure from the investigation.Exactly the words that crossed my mind when I was listening to a news report on it.

The investigation came first, the suicide second.
I have no further comment as I don't know all the details.
What's really odd is that this was an open goal for the Tories.I don’t know much about the issues raised about the case/decision (im sure I read three out of four Tories on the committee agreed with the suspension though) but this just feels, and certainly looks, wrong
I think James O’Brien made the best comparison (I do listen to him sometimes). It’s like your football team losing 3-0 and then you get together with your other supporters after the event to change the rules of football to reverse the loss.I don’t know much about the issues raised about the case/decision (im sure I read three out of four Tories on the committee agreed with the suspension though) but this just feels, and certainly looks, wrong

Either
Throw Paterson to the wolves and claim they are the party of law and order and fairness, move on and let it be forgotten in a week or so.
Or
Change the rules to allow him to evade a 30 day suspension (It's not exactly Jonathon Aitken levels of naughty is it)? and end up looking like a tribe of shysters.
Smacks of hubris.
They have nothing to worry about. We are selfish narcissistic nationWhat's really odd is that this was an open goal for the Tories.
