The SNP idea is even more laughable
Well the SNP would demand a vote for independence- to be fair the Tories would be as likely then I guess
Boris Johnson:

He is repeating what the FT is saying.Has to be true if Dickie says so
Not really that good as it ignores the effect the change of leadership will have on the 2019 tory vote.
I'm sorry but I just can't see Sunak or Truss etc. having the same pull for former labour voters in the northern "redwall" seats
So apparently Case told Johnson he'd been at a party himself, yet De Pfeffel still told him to lead the investigation. The mind boggles.
Apparently the the new investigator whilst well respected is well know to be good at burying things you don't want to come out.So apparently Case told Johnson he'd been at a party himself, yet De Pfeffel still told him to lead the investigation. The mind boggles.
At this stage I’m past the point of caring. They’ve had the negative political impact which is well deserved but do we really want people (and potentially police) wasting their time, cost and everyone’s focus on this unless there had been some big old rave (rather than team gatherings after work)
Considering there are currently members of the public being prosecuted, with some receiving fines of 10k, then yes, the police should pursue these tossers in the same way.
Either that or drop all current cases and refund anyone who's been fined.

Yes as it was a crime other people are in court for
I think there's a question to be answered about why nothing was done at the time even if they don't take action now. There's police on the door and everyone going in and out is logged so the police claiming there's no evidence and they had no idea it was going on is laughable. From investigations a year ago ?! I’m not defending what happened, it’s pretty indefensible but I just think theres better use of resources especially in current climate.
They'll try and keep him until covid is sorted then get rid I reckon. Then blame every covid / brexit issue on him as if nobody else in the party was around when it was all taking place.Boris is a dead man walking, gone by Easter I reckon.

Heard one pollster being interviewed who said their data showed this was a hugely successful tactic for the Conservatives in the last election so they are certain to repeat it.Just like when Johnson was campaigning about what the Tories would do in government and how they needed to repair the country…ignoring the fact the Tories had been in power for 10 years.
It's a brilliant double, which the tories and supporting newspapers relentlessly push - Blame + TrustHeard one pollster being interviewed who said their data showed this was a hugely successful tactic for the Conservatives in the last election so they are certain to repeat it.

Ahhh! The opposition. The new bogey man to blame on the failures of the sitting government.FFS
Absolute state of these idiots
'Weak' opposition responsible for govt slip in standards, Tory MP confesses
This Conservative MP suggests an ineffective opposition has led the government to believe they can do what they want unchallenged.www.lbc.co.uk
