Has any PM ever fucked things up so badly so quickly?

She's been in the job 3 weeks and is utterly finished already.

I’m sure her ‘acquaintances’ at the Daily Mail and Express will be along soon enough to make some shouty noises about immigrants to deflect.

Where have they all gone. Not a word from Truss or Kamikwasi, no ministers doing the media rounds. They’ve all disappeared.

And unfortunately the BBC will play along too. Good thing is though that isn't going to work anymore. No amount of nationalism is going to make people support them when they have inflicted so much damage. All that sovereignty isn't going to pay the mortgage or heat the house and you can't eat flags. Yes the anti immigrant/foreigners sentiment will remain for many but people will see that the Tories and Brexit hasn't helped them, indeed far from it. Raging about people in small boats is small fry compared to the impact this incompetence will have on peoples' lives.

Bank of England responded to 'run dynamic' on pension funds
The Bank of England's intervention announced today was in response to a "run dynamic" on pension funds, Sky News' economic editor Ed Conway has been told.
If the bank had not intervened, there would have been "mass insolvencies of pension funds by this afternoon", he said.

They can't have another self-indulgent leadership contest

It would have to be a General Election

And it'd be a bloodbath

If there was another leadership contest the loony’s in the Conservative party will want to roll Johnson back out

Holy fuck.

The damage they are doing is incredible.

They don't have a clue what to do now.

It honestly seems like they’re actually going to try and style it out the absolute madmen.

Where the fuck do the Tories go from here?

Well if the end goal is to personally enrich themselves as much as possible, surely they go for the former?

If they don’t they’re basically admitting the entire Brexit economic project is a bust. This was “proper Brexit” to a lot of the headbangers in the PCP: low tax, low regulation, trickle down.

And we’ve seen repeatedly that they’ll put Holy Brexit ahead of literally anything else.

Into opposition for a spell to regroup but not before they rinse every last penny for their grandees and donors and front it with a couple of absolute fuck wits who'll take the fall.
No wayall of this isn't deliberately orchestrated, it's like the plot of the Flinstones movie.
