The screams of stitch up looking more and more ridiculous by the minute
Man of the people why should he follow the rules no other dicker did

Is that really all you think this is about? You see no problem with a Prime Minister repeatedly lying to Parliament?Great to have the public talking about whether some lockdown rules were broken though rather than how the decline in everybody's standard of living might be addressed, love it
You’re forgetting one thing. The Boris bridgeScotland doesn’t have a land border with the EU and as you know, NI are a special case due to GFA. The reason why it’s such a great deal for NI is they have access to single market without having to pay into the pot, without FOM requirement and have a break on new EU rules
I might be wrong but I presume Sunak can’t labour these points in public as it might piss off some EU members. Basically NIs position is unique and better than other EU members
If EU offered that deal to the U.K. I’d imagine we’d snap their hands off (ERG nutters/DUP aside )

Didn't think it was complicated to be honestWhat are you talking about?
He’s got a point though - classic dead cat syndrome. Much easier to howl about the outrage of Sue Gray’s appointment and fill column inches about a ‘stitch up’ than have to respond to questions about how the country is going down the toilet.Didn't think it was complicated to be honest
It's not a question of one or the other. A Prime Minister lying to Parliament is a bit of a problem in a democracy. And that doesn't mean that the Government's abject failure to deal with the economic crisis isn't important. He’s got a point though - classic dead cat syndrome. I’ll give you another example of last weeks teacher strike - the government have realised that there is popular support for the strikes, so the media that is supportive of them simply acted like it didn’t happen.

Also trying to dismiss Johnson's behaviour as him just being a bit of a laugh is insulting to the people who obeyed the rules and those who lost friends and relations and couldn't say goodbye to them prperly.
So that's all right then?Blair lied to parliament which led us into an illegal war.

It comes with the systemIf ever there was a reason to stop the ex prime minister dishing out a load of honours to to his mates Stanley Johnson getting one is it.
He has no shame !
I’ve read both Starmer and Sunak are looking at some kind of reform of HofL.
For starters remove all non attendees (those with below X% attendance) immediately, reduce total number, limit PM ability to submit endless new peerages (maybe one in one our policy) and stop all hereditary peers
Fuck it off and make it an elected chamber based on PR.He has no shame !

Tories arguing amongst themselves over the Sue Gray appointment. Maybe it’s having the desired effect
Does this mean grenners is going to start using another unfunny nickname for Starmer? They're absolutely pathetic.
It only seems to be the headbangers and Johnson cheerleaders up in arms about it
It's Beergate mkII

It was weird, hence why he liked it.The right were so pleased with their 'Sir Beer Korma' line
The ultimate irony being in that they made him seem interesting. No one in the Labour Party has achieved that. The right were so pleased with their 'Sir Beer Korma' line
Dan Hodges is hilarious (unintentionally) at the moment. Same as he was during beergate. The right must be really worried about Boris’ future in politics. You can only assume he’s done for and they know it.

Local Tories are doing a fair bit of deselecting their sitting MP’s at the moment, 3 already confirmed and I think it’s been suggested that another 3 are on their way out. Unless he gets kicked out of the party I can see Boris giving up his seat and being selected in one of these seats. The problem for a lot of them now is which constituencies could you put them in where they’d win-probably only Tory diehard strongholds with retiring MPs. Johnson would be destroyed in his and few people are willing to give up their seat to prolong his career
This will be worrying for Sunak as there doesn’t seem to be a bounce from the Windsor deal, which surprises me also. Also worrying for the Boris camp and their client journalists is no evidence that anyone gives 2 shiny ones about the Sue Gray appointment. I think that will worry Sunak too but less so and certainly not as much as no bo unce from Windsor.
