Pretty disturbing if he actually has been denied access due to political views - he claims he’s been denied in 10 other banks. I’m always dubious regarding his claims but if true it’s not a good look
So Coutts had no problem being associated with a Brexit campaigner. They did with a Putin apologists though. Well that and the fact that lord haw haw no longer had the finances to qualify for the bank account he thinks he’s entitled too.

Well I was going for option 1.Inwhich case we need to rip up the way our society is structured and start all over again, or start killing people when they hit 75, 1 of the 2.

I caught a headline in the Express yesterday that said Brexit win for fishermen, at last I thought so I read the article. It was very vague on what the win was but did mention the introduction of Remote Electronic Monitoring. So I googled Remote Electronic Monitoring Fishing to get a clearer idea of what that is and top of the page was an article about how the EU started introducing it in in 2021. So I guess the “win” is being 2 years behind the curve because of Brexit. But as you say they know what they’re doing, they understand their readership.They know what they're doing. They just know their readership probably doesn't understand.

Increasing resistance to antibiotics. An increasing population creating ever more demand for land and resources as both get smaller, leading to ever higher tensions and disputes in an era with frighteningly powerful weapons. Not to mention potential threats like AI.
You can see why people wonder if we've not discovered intelligent life because it's destined to destroy itself first.

That will undoubtedly be a disappointment for them. But the Selby result was massive even by by-election standards. Overturning a 20K majority is not something you see very often.The seat of the disgraced former Prime Minister heavily targeted by Labour and they still don't win it, come on David it isn't a disaster but it's hardly a sign of a thumping majority either.
