I've been hit pretty hard by covid since Tuesday and I absolutely refuse to believe most of what's happened since then hasn't been a fever dream

I hope they go for Dorries although pmq might be a bit strange when she is asking for help with the long words that Sir K uses.

Allegedly David Davies is considering running. Got to be a wind up. Then again looking at the quality of Tory MP’s you can’t blame him for fancying his chances.

Won't both the final two be the ones the largest Tory party donors want?
Not a conspiracy theory just reality.
They can't afford to let the swivel eyed members have any leeway.
For that reason I think it will be two of Truss, Sunak, Wallace, Mordaunt. But a lot can change in the coming weeks if one of the above makes a gaffe.
Javid an outside bet?
All hideous of course!

Peter Bone has been given a cabinet job. Lol

Christ.

It was joked the other day that the likes of Fabricant and Bone could get cabinet jobs. Amazing to see it actually happen.

Bone is unhinged. And a massive twat.

Great news about Starmer.

Whatever you think of his politics he's clearly a smart bloke and with his legal expertise he would have made sure his position was watertight before making the resignation promise. Tories did their best to lean on the police mind you.

I'd have been very disappointed if he'd had to resign, so I'm very happy with the news.

The Corbynites will be seething though.

I think only Johnson genuinely seethes over Smarmer. I take back my earlier criticism though-he's now up to tikka massala from korma.

I'm not seething, and I'm not a corbynite, (as I keep repeating, he had his chance and blew it).

I'm just someone who thinks the leader of the Labour Party should side with the working man and not sneer at them. That's not Starmer.

Let’s be honest with the Tories at a low ebb one element of the party would have been preying he was fined
