Don't pretend you don't get the point. Labour have run a closely controlled campaign and will deservedly win.

But their vote share hasn't shifted much, it's the rise of Reform and the collapse of the Tory vote that gets them the seats.

Labour needs to start bringing people with them, left as well as right leaning, starting today, or the next time around they're fucked.

Corbyn's point is valid, you're venting rather than thinking, I'm afraid.

Vote share literally doesn’t matter. This was one of the many valid complaints about Corbyns strategy. What matters is winning elections, the left can try and do that and until they do the rest of Labour is the next best thing.

Just woke up to the results, landslide as expected.
No time for Starmer but hope he proves me wrong and turns the country round for the majority of people whove suffered 14 years of unneccessary austerity and doesn't, as I suspect, subject to us to more of the same.

Great result for the lib dems and inspired by Eds buffoonery driven campaign Im going to hand stand into work on a segway in hope of a rise or a promotion.

Not for the first time, Douglas Ross explaining why the tories have bombed through the medium of explaining why the SNP have bombed.

Having just woken up to these results my thoughts are actually to be pretty concerned at how many votes Snake Oil UK has gained on a single issue with a single charlatan leading the charge. Combined with a drop in turnout basically everywhere and Labour’s vote share not changing substantially, there’s a serious job for them to do if they want a second term.

The destruction of the SNP however is a thing of beauty and hopefully is repeated in the Holyrood elections.
