He's a 20 year old Aussie born Liverpool academy and reserves keeper who has just arranged his release from them as he needs to play first team football. Replacement for KW?

Local web page. He's capped for Australia at under 20 and was called into the full international training squad before the recent Germany full international. See wwos.ninemsn.com.au/football

There are some great young keepers in Australia. I've seen a couple play for the Australian Sports Institute and they are generally very good.

Isn't Danny Ireland Australian too? I seem to remember we were looking at one or two others with him. Bosnich was pretty good and so is Mark Schwarzer - perhaps a hotbed of untapped talent :)

Bonza. Althought I think i'd prefer someone who's played at this level before, going from Westwood to a reserve player doesn't fill me with confidence tbh

Just because he's been at Liverpool does not necessarily mean that he's any good, I would want Coventry to sign a goalkeeper with much more first team experience

I'd say the fact that Thorn was a scout for years, is now the manager of a club that is 99.9% going to be on the look out for a new keeper and that Liverpool are hardly a little club in the back of nowhere that no-one knows about, then yes I would hazard a guess that he does know about this chap.

Decent little buy on Football Manager 2008.

What caught my eye was Benitez's opinion of him. There again didn't he buy Pepe Reina who I don't rate as a good GK at all!

Seen him play before, definitely has potential but I think there are better more experienced keepers around. Still would not be disappointed if we did sign him.

I would think Aussie rules football has got something to do with a lot of good keepers coming out of Australia. Kids are brought up on catching a ball.
