City look for new opponents for the final preseason fixture of July as Donny game will no longer go ahead...
The Sky Blues have accepted Doncaster’s proposal to cancel the friendly, originally scheduled for Friday evening, following a number of injuries to their first-team.
Doncaster have stressed in a club statement that this was not a decision taken lightly, but have to take in to consideration the needs of their squad at this time.
Coventry City will now be looking to re-arrange the match, with new opponents, and supporters will be informed of any changes made to the original fixture.
We wish Doncaster the best for the forthcoming season and will now be looking to fulfil the fixture with a new club.
